Not taking anything away from Balde but if it was anyone else but him that set Pukki up we would of hardly heard about the player that assisted:56:

    How do you know? :smiley-laughing002:

He runs his * off whenever he gets a chance to come on and works as hard as anyone. What's your definition of enthusiasm?

I like Pukki. Aye he might be quiet but that's his personality. He works hard, sometime maybe tries too hard to impress, but he's slowly getting into his game and I fell he will come good.
After that tournament in Turkey I wanted a Pukki and Balde partnership after how well he played. So aye...I think he's a good player

Think that's just his coupon, did you see the tweet of him at the Beyoncé gig the other night? He always just looks a bit doped.

Pleased to see him score today. Looked lively when he came on. Here's hoping he sticks around to stake a regular place in the team.

I'm pretty sure he has played a full game or near enough a full game he has had plenty of game time.

Happy for him to get a goal but would rather Balde get the amount of game time he has had till the end of the season, also can see Stokes and the Thumb being like Stooper because they look good up front together. And we have Watt coming back at the end if the season.

In saying that i think we have a good pool of forwards at the moment.

I like him, he'll never be our number 1 striker but he's a good footballer.

You seem to condemn players by facial expressions, outer figures or some odd stereotypias. Am I right, if I dare to say you are stuck in a kind of stereotypical thinking?

People of different nationalities differ from each other by outer looks. You can list differences or stereotypias, if you like. Also persons inside one nationality differ.

All players inside one team differ, see Forster, Samaras, Commons or Pukki. Every man has allways some expression on the face. Pukki is not emotionless or expressionless. Pukki may look shy or silent sometimes but not expressionless. He shows dissappointments and joys. I could see today, when he was angry with the referee.

So Pukki or Finns are so so emotionless and expressionless. But it's cause you don't like him. Your are really stuck in this stereotypia thing.

    Emotionless? Expressionless? Motionless?

I'm going to take a punt and here and guess that you yourself are Finnish. Right?

If so then you've obviously taken offence at my "stereotypical Finn" comment. If so, I apologise. I will try to put it another way.

When I think of Finns I think about Finnish sportspeople I know(since I haven't met any Finns in my own personal life). The first people that spring to mind are people like Mika Hakkinen and Kimi Raikkonnen. They are truly two of the dullest people I have ever seen. If they cracked a smile their face would break, that's how they come across. They seem like very emotionless and dull individuals. Up to this point, I get the same feeling from Teemu Pukki. He scored today and there was no celebration, no look of joy, no nothing. It's not the first time either. He just doesn't give off the impression that he's enjoying playing or happy to be here. Maybe inside his head he is happy but he doesn't give off that impression. That makes it difficult for me to warm to him. I'm not casting any aspersions on his ability as a footballer, I am simply saying I personally find it difficult to warm to a player who looks so languid and unaffected all the time. I have similar feelings about Georgios Samaras so it's not an anti-Finnish thing.

I hope this clears things up for you a bit.

That's the talk of someone who has never been in mills.

    Nice goal today

Still think he gets knocked of the ball a little too easy, but he definitely is a good footballer. Just not gonna get us lots of goals. Bit timid so he is.

I really like him. Tidy quality footballer imo. Was delighted for him and balde with the goal. Would love to see them get a start together but lenny seems reluctant to do so.

Should have happened long ago, but Stokes and Griffiths have started doing the business so Lenny isn't going to rest the two of them. Think it's already pretty clear that Pukki and Stokes don't work together.
