Depends on how deep Ronny wants us to play. From what I've read, he likes to play a high line with plenty of pace. I'm not sure if Kris would be as beneficial in a straight 4-3-3. Watt and Griffiths have pace and power, plus a tendency to run into the channels and battle. This, combined with Stokes' ingenuity could be beautiful.

Of course Kris might flourish playing this role as well, but I've never thought of having him playing in such a forward, solo role.

To be honest I don't really disagree with him, think our whole front line needs to be reworked, but i'm just a nutter behind a keyboard as well so meh :smiley-laughing002:

Why not? We could be doing with starting again there tbh. I'd like to see an attack of.....

Tony Watt, Alfred Finnbogason, Stevie May and Enner Valencia and rotate between the four.

Plenty pace, power and bags of everything. Would be a lot more exciting than our current lot bar Watt that's for sure.

he had 7 goals and 9 assists with a goal every 132 minutes and an assist every 103 minutes. He also helped stokes to rediscover his scoring touch. Stokes had 13 goals in 15 appearances after griffiths arrival as compared to 7 in 19 before he arrived. We certainly look much more likely to score with him in the team, so all in all I would say he has been quite a good addition.

It's the Scottish league remember though, there's plenty other strikers we could sign who could just as easily have those stats in our league and also provide us with a realistic chance of them stepping up in Europe to an acceptable enough Celtic level.

So £5m+ on Finnbogason, £2m+ on Valencia (possibly more depending on his WC), £500k+ on May and then their wages. £7.5m+ before we even look at the midfield, defence and goalkeeping options?

Aye football manager is a great game.

You can't disagree that the front line I've mentioned isn't more exiting than the one we've currently got? It's a good mix of different strikers I've mentioned there.

We'd have to get rid of a lot of deadwood and free up plenty wages I grant you at.

There's no way we could get these players without trying to move on about half our squad.

Stokes is probably one of the most technical players in the squad, he shows touches and vision that Griffiths does not have. The only thing I would say Griffiths has over Stokes is pace, that's probably it.

So is that all Ronny will be looking for seeing as you seem to know him so well? He won't be looking for an experienced SPL goalscorer with finishing ability, who regularly and consistently creates chances for his team-mates and who has been here the longest out of all our strikers? Nah suppose he will just let Tony Watt swagger straight into the starting 11.

You are constantly contradicting yourself. Saying you like Griffiths and that he should be ahead of stokes, but then go and say we need to re-work the frontline and sign Finbogasson and Enner * Valencia.:56:
