  2. I'm confused :97: I thought Finland was part of Scandinavia?? :confused1:

  3. No, it's part of the Nordic countries. Scandinavia just refers to Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Though in common usage "Scandinavia" and the "Nordic countries" are synonyms.

  4. Finland is just as much a part of Scandinavia as Ireland is a part of Great Britain.

Finnish language has nothing to do with Swedish or other Scandinavian languages, most of languages relative to Finnish are spoken somewhere in Siberia.

Apparently Huntelaar suffered a knee injury today. Depending on how serious it is we might not get Pukki after all:54:

  7. what a * * huntelaar, what a *

That wouldn't surprise me. With the amount of luck we get with injuries, we might as well start suffering for others as well.

Knowing our luck he will take his place, go on to score 20 Bundesliga goals and win a move to the prem or Bayern Munich for £25million. We end up with Kevin Doyle.

  10. :56::56: Oh my * that is so going to happen :smiley-laughing002:

we end up with doyle im giving up.

  11. Was thinking that was the worst thing that could happen :37:

Was stupid of Lennon to speak openly about Pukki though in my opinion. Should say nothing unless it's guaranteed which it obviously isn't.

If we are told a definite "no" now, we may go all in for Finnbo instead right enough.

I think that is his point bud :50:

  15. I know many people from Finland that refer Finland as a scandinavian country. Even though the formality would be Nordic, and I know no Irish that would refer Ireland as GB. The language is in the same tree as Hungarian, and have similarities with Estonian and Sami. And in fact, even though its a completely different language, when you start consider Finnish words you will see that many words are closely related to Swedish, many times with an i in the end.

  16. ireland is not part of britain but it is part of the uk
