I think he could be a good signing alongside Finny, why not buy the TWO of them. I get the feeling he is on the list, with Finny being the no.1 target. IMO, he is definitely worth buying. I know he has not started too many games, but they are a fine club in the best League in Europe, imo. The Bundesliga is a brilliant League, with top clubs and all run so well, on and off the pitch. If we can target players from Germany from time to time, why not. Need centre half and midfielder as well imo.

think he looks pretty decent. goal scoring ratio isnt amazing, but as people have said - he hasnt had much of a look in at schalke, and im sure his goal per minutes stats say a lot more about his ability. plus, as far as im aware schalke always seem to know a good player.

looking at his finishes in the video below, he seems like he can score a good variation of goals. but his footwork and link up play in the first goal is sublime...

just checked him out on FM. I'm in my 2014 season n he's still at schalke n looks auright. Good finisher, good dribbler and he's fast. Not very creative and his heading and positioning is terrible. Checked his stats on FM and 2013 he old 32 gls in 12/13 season then the 13/14 season he old 37 n scored 27 with 11 assists.

    I'd sign him ! He's 6 mill on fm now though ;(

There is no way Schalke won't sell him if they receive a good offer. He'll be out of contract next summer and he barely plays for them. He wasn't even in their squad a week or two ago for a match.

    Hope this is a goer.

Why are they not keeping a guy who has scored 8 goals in 1000 odd minutes playing time...That's like 8 goals in 11 games, in the best league in the world...Could he not play alongside Huntelar?

Think they usually play a system with one striker, so he was a backup to huntelaar. With players like draxler, farfan, barnetta, obasi and until fairly recently holtby playing behind huntelaar, they didn't really need to play him as anything apart from backup striker.

They've just signed szalai, and obasi can cover striker too so I think they will let him go for a decent enough fee considering he's in the last year of his contract.

I like the look of him. pacey, which is what we need up front and I think a regular run of games would see him bag a lot of goals.

His scoring record looks * on a goal to game basis, but if you look at it on a minutes to goal basis it's a * of a lot better. A goal every 130 mins is a pretty decent return
