    bring in niemi as the number 1....and get marshall some more time in goal as the number 2....hes got the potential (remember barcelona?) but he needs some more time to mature

    southampton have said they wouldn't welcome an approach and he's tied to them for another 3 yrs,plus we have to pay an inflated price for him seeing as rupert lowe hates strachan.your right we do need another keeper because marshall is a great shot stopper but is dire at coming for balls when they are crossed into the box,yes it is his age and i'm sure with time,he'll be the number 1 for years to come but he needs some sort of competion so he don't get complacent.I also have a feeling that bellamy will stay,i mean look at the clubs linked with him besides bayern munich how many have done aswell in europe as celtic in the last few years,and when he came off on sunday you could see he had the gleam in his eye and loved the crowds reaction to him

    why doesn't someone arrange an intensive goalie clinic for Marshall with someone like Cech or Kahn or Buffon or one of the top flight keepers. Am not real fussy on Niemi and Caroll is not the brightest bulb in the chandelier.

    All Celtic 'keepers train with Tery Genoe everyday so he is getting the best possible training.

    I would love to see Neimi at CelticPark he is the difference between winning and losing games making the kind of saves that very few can plus he'll have a point to prove to the Hun's. That's the difference between us and them - if your good enough your in the team.

    Would also love to see Chris Kirkland of Liverpool at CP, if he hadn't been injured last season then he would be England 'keeper by now. Liverpool have Carson, Dudek and now Reina and Strachen gave him his debut at Coventry before selling him for £8million.

    Kirkland is a decent keeper but we need experience, I mean thats the only reason we don't play Marsh. Niemi is seriously the answer to our players!!

    I do think that it will be Niemi as the Saints No2 'keeper Paul Smith is a real stand out (Strachen bought him from Brentford i think) so whatever Lowe is saying he will let Niemi leave.

    Marsh is a fantasic 'keeper with great potential however Kirkland is one of a select band of 'keepers (Buffon, Landreu and Casillis spring to mind) that were good enough to play 1st team football from age of 17/18 in a top European league and has played more than 50 games in the Premiership, think he was 5th most expensive 'keeper ever but to be fair he has been unlucky with injuries hence the reason why Dudek Played since Christmas and why they are signing Reina.
