    I think there has been a breakdown in communications with lenny and lawwell, lenny told him he had found hoopers replacement but peter you'll have to goto Iceland to sign him, problem is lawwell only got half way through the freezers before the shop shut

    I don't want to sound negative like the Spell check fella or get the negative tag but let's put this into perspective....Ausburg finished 15th in Bundesliga and our two best players left to goto Southampton (14th in PL) and Norwich (11th in PL). IMO Bundesliga is a stronger league than the EPL. In saying that, I hope CL football is enough to sway him

    I don't want to get the negative tag or be compared to the Spell Check fella ;) but lets put this into perspective... Our 2 best players left to goto Norwich (11th in PL) and Southampton (14th in PL) while Ausburg finished 15th in a stronger league in my opinion....Obviously we are a much bigger club than Ausburg and can offer CL fitbaw but our tin pot league balances it out a wee bit

    EPL has so much more money than the Bundesliga though. QPR who finished bottom last season could probably spend more on a player than the team who finished 4th in the bundesliga.

    Heerenveen director Gaston Sporre has confirmed that proposals for Alfred Finnbogason have come in, but says the amounts aren't enough.
    He says the club would much rather hold onto the striker. The bids for Finnbogason are apparently from FC Augsburg and Celtic.
