This guy would replace Hooper no doubt. Seen him many times and he is a goal machine indeed.

5 million euros is nothing in football nowadays. If we do sign him no one outside Scotland will bat an eyelid.

Exactly. On the Everton forum they were talking about how £6 million (for Jellybitch) is pennies in football and nowhere near enough to replace a striker.

Coming from a team who are absolutely skint! Just shows how lazy teams are today, with regards to scouting (well in England anyway). Makes me hopeful we can scout guys like this out on the 'cheap', or cheaper than paying £5 million+ for a player. :icon_mrgreen:

You want to see Fox lose credibility in 94 seconds?

    Taken from celticrumours.co.uk.

Yes, I know that website is a load of bullshit but it sounds like something Lennon would say:smiley-laughing002:

Heerenveen quoted to want "in the neighbourhood of 5 million euros"

If we managed to get him for like 4-5 million euros (£3.5-4.5 million) that would be unbelievable. Would be good for Heerenveen since he cost them 500k last season :56:

Fox sports apparently at first, I saw it posted on twitter by a usually reliable dutch source which was one of the first to talk about Van Dijk coming here. You never know but the chances of this not happening seem to be higher right now it seems:smiley-laughing002:

I'm hopeful though, 5 million euros is nothing for this guy, I am certain he would perform here.

(Transfer Summary) Derk Boerrigter will be unveiled as a Celtic player later this evening if he completes a medical this afternoon. Celtic have not been in contact with Heerenveen. yet. I'm led to believe there has been a change in the situation and that Celtic will open negotiations with the Dutch club over Finnbogason should they navigate the third qualifying round against Elfsborg.

Right Lennon has commented on him and Finnbogason tweeted the YNWA video. He is definetly coming in my hopeful wishful thinking eyes.

I'm guessing there will be press at Glasgow Airport waiting for Derk to arrive for his medical if he hasn't already, I guess if Lawwell is with him then this move isn't happening, if Lawwell doesn't arrive with Derk, could be an indication that we're trying to make something happen.

Lawwell doesn't always fly, he has an Oscar II submarine, so I wouldn't get too hung up on that mate.

Wouldn't be like Celtic to opt for the cheap option.
