I saw him playing a lot of games and he isn't that very good. He is quite fast, doesn't scores a lot of goals and had different injuries. In the first season at Ajax he played very well and he almost made it to the national Dutch team but when he got a back injurie he never reached the performance in the first season again. As a Ajax fan Im happy he is leaving but as a Celtic fan I dont think he will fit in the system.

As far as I can tell, last season was his only poor one for a few years, He scored goals at RKC(22 in 38) and in his first season at Ajax(10 in 23) from midfield. Last season wasnt so good, but that happens to a player, particularly after a long lay-off. Kris Commons had a poor season for us, so did Brown in the past, it doesn't mean they can't reach prevous heights again.

Plus Boerrigter had a back injury. hardly an injury thats going to disrupt the way he plays, like maybe Izaguirres and Kayals injuries have(but even they have a good chance at getting back to their best). I have a good feeling that Boerrigter will be an excellent addition, quite excited about him actually.

Really excited by this signing, the guy looks fast and direct in those videos, a bit like Forrest.

His scoring and assist record, for a left winger, is fantastic.

He reminds me of someone, can't quite think of who, though. He seems to have a sweet left foot :50:

He reminds me a bit of that Albert Riera that played for Liverpool.

See the way the deadline for submitting our squad vs Elfsborg has passed, is it the case that we now have one wildcard? So if hypothetically, we sign Boerrigter and Finnbogason before the game, we could only choose one to play aye?

Yes, hopefully it's a striker, more important for wednesday in my opinion.

Yeah we can only pick one and Boerriget is ment to be carrying an injury so it'll definetly be Finnbogason if he signs in time.

Aye he looks like he has a wicked cross on him, if he's even half as good a crosser of the ball as Steve Guppy big Balde will be lauging:56:

Yes, this guy looks pretty impressive to me!

Does this mean Sammy will be used more as a striker?

Fast, decent dribbler, good crosser, good shooter, seems good on both sides. Whats the catch here? :smiley-laughing002:

He must have consistency issues cause at full flight this guy looks the business.

Nah, I'm pretty certain this is the "left-sided" player that Lennon has been after for a while now.

Steve Guppy was worse than pish:56: But he was certainly better than good when it came to whipping a cross in. He was superb at them:50:
