    Not really but it is easy to see why people attempt it and see it as a solution.

    If you are suffering mentally then you live is * (you are suffering not living) and if you top yourself then you are out of *.

    It is a dangerous mentality.

    I know it's silly / insensitive but such strong emotions can be overwhelming

    Then wake up tomorrow and life goes on. I think at times you just need to ride the storm as best you can and ask for help where possible
