[Help] mouse problem

whenever im playing a game my mouse goes all jittery, playing sniper elite * zombies and cant shoot for * becuse the mouse is so jittery ive had settings down as low as possible and makes little difference same with battlefield 3

its a wireless keyboard and mouse an old one at that but when not playing a game they work perfect. before i shell out on a new mouse etc can someone confirm its not something daft i dont know about ? bought a shitload of games on steam sale and cantenjoy them


also mistakenly bought sniper elite * zombies 4 pack so wen i can ill dish them out to whoever wants a copy

 

What surface are you on? I.e mouse pad, the desk or whatever. I presume it's a laser/optical mouse as well. If so have a look at it. If you get dust or crumbs or an eyelash in there it goes bananas.

What's the * Zombie stuff you got? I bought this too. Add my username here on Steam as no one online to play with :smiley-laughing002:

 

Try increasing the refresh rate of your mouse, that sounds like what the problem might be

 

I had similar issues with my wireless mouse and I moved the USB receiver to a USB port at the front/top of my desktop rather than the back I/O area. It seemed to have solved my issues.

 

Gave it a clean with a qtip won't get a chance to try it til later but. I bought sniper elite * zombies but I bought the 4 pack by mistake ha. Just gnny give the other copies to anyone interested. I'm the same mate none of my pals are into games or anything it's * murder :smiley-laughing002: I'll add u next time I'm on maybe later on tonight mate

you should try and swap them for other games, think theres a few places you can do that

 

I'm up for that if your giving them away, but if you can trade them to get something back, you should do that.

 

You can trade stuff on Steam inventory now IIRC (for PayPal money too). So you could always sell the 3 extra copies/trade them with people who have extra copies of games you want.
