    Are we though? We have Forrest who has a sciatica problem and Boerigter who looks much better suited on the left, same goes for sammy. Lustig would be alright but then who would we put in RB? Ambrose? He looks too good at CB with Virgil right now to ruin that partnership... Am I missing someone?

    Wouldn't mind seeing Lustig play right mid and Fisher come in at right back, but that wont do for CL games.

    Gutted for him.

    This might give Fisher a wee chance though, so silver lining.

    Again that would be fine for SPL games but Brown could be looking at 2-3 games out in the CL due to his kick at Neymar. That's concerning. Definitely wouldn't say we were well covered but I'm hoping someone will prove me wrong.

    Sammy, Commons, Boerrigter, Forrest, McGeouch, George and Brown can all fight out that position.

    Lustig is a great full back, shifting him will create more problems. I think on the right is where Boerrigter will need to establish himself as Sammy's always on the left.

    Gutted that Matthews got so badly injured (a broken collar bone is a real sickener!) and it was a bit classless of Lasley not to ask him how he was. But it wasn't a foul.

    Surely he can't be that bad off. Seen him in The Loft in Ashton Lane with the rest of the players on Saturday night, didn't look like he had a stookie or support or anything on.

    Brown at RM worked well in Lennon's first season, wouldn't mind seeing it again with Kayal and Ledley in the middle.

    He's seeing a specialist today and Celtic saying he may need surgery. Nothing is confirmed yet.

    Indeed it is. Really is going to be a big miss, especially in the CL. Him and Lustig seem to play very well together both attacking and defensively.

    Main issue is that Lustig is no stranger to an injury or two himself. If he gets a knock we could be going into a CL game with the only other obvious choice being one of our regular centre half's. In other words, a defensive reshuffle.

    Aw *, don't say that. :54:

    We should wrap Lustig in cotton wool for the CL games, going in without either doesn't bear thinking about.

    Would play young Fisher at RB in league games from now, as Sean says above Lustig needs to be kept absolutely clear for the CL, at least until December.

    * news

    We should change to a 3 man centre midfield now with Broony, Kayal and Ledley in the Champions League
