    Lustig was at the game and he must be wondering how on earth he's going to get ahead of Matthews after that performance!

    He has outstanding pace, tough tackling, knocks an amazing ball down the line and the mammoth throw he has is just another string to his bow, All at the age of 19!

    I might get shot down for this but imo he will reach a higher level than any other player we have.

    Really great thing is when he does lose the ball, as does happens sometimes because he tends to bite off a bit more than he can chew in terms of trying to knock it past 3 defenders etc, when that does happen he is 90% of the time fast enough to recover.

    The tackle he made on I think lafferty in the area was great, from behind could have easily gave away a peno but won the ball and we got it away easily.

    One ball he played near the end, went to Broony so nothing came of it but, my * it was sensational. Iniesta would have been proud of it honestly, dunno if anyone else saw (i'm guessing you did lol) but I am still replaying that, outside of the right boot inch perfect pass just ahead of Scoosh to run on to.

    Marvellous prospect for the future if he gets better he will be immense. And he's good as it is, great again tonight, I was very happy to see him back from injury.

    Him and Izzy fit and bombing down the flanks - :56::bbpd::icon_mrgreen::50::celt_2:

    I just have to laugh and smile at that prospect, far far too much for anyone to cope with.

    eeeeerrrrrmmmmmm......let me just reel in some of the outrageous comments on here saying he's the best player in the team and he will go onto better things than anyone else and.......well.....totaly agrtee he was fukin immense and in my opinion in every game he gets better what a player :50:

    The boy is still not 20, quite unbelievable. Hope he stays with us for a long long time. Lustig will have so much trouble getting into the team with how good matthews is playing.
