It's a bit of a concern but I'm not going to panic just yet. In saying that, the last 2 defeats (against second division teams) have been pretty pathetic, preseason or not.

I'm desperately hoping we invest some of the Wanyama cash in a creative midfielder. None of our midfielders right now are really capable of cutting open a defense or anything.

I know we failed dismally in pre's last year but we have still been outscored by mediocre opponents and what is the point of travelling to Germany to get a tanking, we may have well just stayed at home and saved the plane fare.

Depresses me that there seem to be a significant number of Celtic fans that * stupid.

 

I don't believe anyone that says we shouldn't be at least somewhat worried by these performances. Every game we have been * * and depressingly dull. Pass marks for the youths but it's still not good enough. We will beat Cliftonville but thats not the point. At least put up a fight in these games.

 

Agreed.

Pre season games where even players we know can play have been off the boil and yet this guy can't cut it according to some.

It doesn't even take half a brain cell to know the guy needs a bit of time.

normally i would not read to much into pre season results but these 4 games have been exceptionally pitiful...

 

I really fear for the survival of the human race after that 3-0 tanking.
