One of the greatest statesmen of our age. A man who united a country. An iconic figure.

I think it was expected but still. RIP

The man will live forever in the books of history as a gallant freedom fighter, that fought for what was right. While some witchy old slag * in number ten referred to him as a 'terrorist' and "that vile little man".

Really sad news, hopefully his memory will live long longer than any of ours lives and for generations to come. Inspirational is an understatement a true man of courage and it shows what the will of a single man can do.

A sad night for the world.
The fairest, most reasonable, honest leader any country has ever had.
We are poorer for his passing.

Just watching Sky news and its amazing how times have changed, i recall reading old articles about Mandela and old BBC news reels and he was a terrorist then in the media, now he is a great man to both them and the common people.
