Not seen it mentioned yet but suppose every1 has seen teh Chris killen prospect. Wot is the opinion on this 1?

Think that he is decent enough, but surely we should be looking for better players than him. Good player for the Scottich league, but I feel we need to be looking for player that will enhance the First 11, not the squad. The squad at this point seemd decent enuf for the SPL.

As far as I am concerned, not for me. Unless we get rid of Beattie or Magic. In that case more than adequate replacment. Would probably rather take him that either of the other weapons!

Decent player but we signed McDonald so I dont see it as a good signing considering something drastic happens

Yeh i think it would be him OR mcdonald as a rotating striker so we have mcdonald so we dont need him. Plus how many hibs players are we going to go 4?

    South Wales Echo

CARDIFF City are set to seal their second transfer of the summer with Hibernian striker Chris Killen on the brink of joining the Bluebirds.

After the Echo exclusively revealed last week that City manager Dave Jones had snapped up Plymouth left-back Tony Capaldi, Killen now looks to be on his way to Ninian Park as well.

The 25-year-old New Zealand international, who scored 14 goals this season for Hibs, has not played since suffering an Achilles injury a week before the January transfer window opened.

But Killen revealed to the Echo that once he is fit again, he is ready to sign for the Bluebirds ahead of Hibs’ rivals Hearts.

“I have spoken to Cardiff City and hopefully everything will be sorted out this week,” said Killen, who sat out Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Wales at Wrexham through injury.
“I still have my medical to come, but we have agreed personal terms.

“I came to Cardiff a couple of months ago and met the manager, players and staff and I like what I heard.
“I saw the plans for the new stadium and training ground.
“There are exciting times down there and I want to be part of those ambitious plans.

“Everything has been agreed and hopefully I’ll be a Cardiff player by the end of the week.”

Killen was a target for Jones in the January transfer window before his injury and the Bluebirds boss now seems to have finally got his man.

“It was disappointing not to have joined Cardiff last January,” said Killen.

“I only found out the day after my operation in January that Cardiff were interested in me.

“It was unfortunate to happen at that particular time. It was a freak accident.”

    good.

heard on radio clyde form a about 3 diffrent callers he was at parkhead today, one said he saw him, the other said he was having a medical, and someone emailed in saying he was there with his agent.

i think he'd be decent backup to janvoh, tore the huns appart at easter road this season, scored plenty of goals in the spl maybe he can be our c
    kris boyd.

personally i thought the cardiff deal was done, i think for the money he'd want it would be worth the risk???

not stirring it btw just passing on info!!!!!

Aw for signing decent players but this is getting beyond a joke. They might need to expand CP will all the players we have watching from the stands

Surely this signing spells the end for Magic or Misser, or hopefully both.

    mystery man?

thats just beyond a joke, the only thing i wood imagine is that deeks must be leaving, two players for each posistion is enuff, else we'll end up turning into hearts of midlithinuia fc:31: maybe killen has been signed as celtic will not be bringing in a blue chip striker:31:. welll anyways we shood look ont he bright side i guess:54:,,,,, at least it wasnt benji we signed:84:

I think it spells the end for Beattie more than Magic and Miller.
