Would have to be King of Kings, Henrik Larsson.

    I'm not picky.
I remember it all as if it were only last week. Even though it hurt like * (and still does), it was an amazing run. From ramming the words of Souness' "men against boys" back down his throat to beating the cheating, time wasting Boavista.

Amazing but heart-wrenching at the same time.

Can't believe it was 10 years ago, still remember it exactly as it was. Flew from Gatwick at around 6am, the place was completely swamped with Celtic fans, airport was mobbed with everyone wearing Hoops. Fantastic experience. Apart from the result, obviously, I couldn't possibly have asked for anything more from it. An incredible few days.

Slightly off topic but on this very same day in 1979 we won the league in the infamous "4-2 Ten men won the league" game against Oldco at Celtic Park.

On this day in 2011 Lenny also guided us to his first trophy as manager in the Scottish cup with a 3-0 victory over Motherwell.

    Can't watch the final.

Still detest Mourinhio because of it.

  10. the scoreline will not change anything for me that day one of the best days of my life, to be there and sample that atmosphere and build up was something else, ive still never watched or seen the highlights and dont want to.

I've never rewatched the final either, still feel as if Celtic were robbed that day.

Love how everyone has a story about Seville though, particularly the road to the final.

Definitely the most memorable trip I think I will ever have. Ended up staying in the same hotel as the Porto players. I can remember sitting talking to Ricardo Carvalho like it was just the other week. Not a clue what I was saying to him, and I don't think he did either, but fair play to him for spending a bit time with me. The only player that you couldn't speak to was Deco, he was surrounded by security all the time, but the rest were down to earth. Great experience despite the result.

Still think Larsson's first goal was one of the best headers I've seen. Everything about it, the leap, power and placement.....perfect.

Same. That man could win the CL 10 years in a row then, for whatever reason, beg and plead to come to manage Celtic, and I'd still petition the board to turn him away.

Can mind it like it was yesterday.

Wish I was an age where I could have truly appreciated it right enough.

    Seville 10 years on

One of the best times of my life surrounded by fantastic fans who behaved impecably supporting our great team . The thing I remember was that every where you looked grassy knowles , scafolding, van roofs, waste grounds there were Celtic fans sleeping in them . Still makes me laugh!!
Well done to all who made the trip , I would love you to share your memories.:celt_2::celt_2::celt_2:

I was only 10 at the time, it was the first Celtic game I cried after. I really wish that I had been in Seville to experience it all instead of staying at home as now I'm older I realise that we might not reach another European final again for a while. If we do make another European final I won't be making that mistake again.

I was 7! I never really appreciated it at the time, I remember Henrik's goals and crying after the game, that night and Larsson's last gameare the only two times Iv'e cried involving Celtic, wish I was older at the time though, remember the year after when we beat Barca thinking "ah we'll win it no bother" no thinking how great an achievement it was
