I don't care how many points we rally up, as long as we win the league. What would be nice if we played some better football. I'm not expecting samba soccer, or tiki-taka, but come on. We're dull.

    I'm not picky.
In all honesty I couldn't care less how much points we end the season on. As long as we have more than anyone else to become Champions is the main thing.

I love how playing football each weekend is being compared to people with normal jobs. I don't work but go to college everyday, I don't give 100% everyday because it is boring. If I was playing football I'd be enjoying it so I would give 100%.

Ok maybe not 100% every single week, but certainly more than our squad have. I think Scott Brown is a player who would have given his all every week if he was fit.

I'm not going to get into the whole debate here but wouldn't people say although we have went down a gear or two it's still up to the opposition to step up to the mark... I have been impressed not just this season but last the way some teams at times played against us they where not scared to get stuck in! I think Motherwell have stepped up
From last year and got better... A few other teams have dipped but Ross county when we have played them look not a bad team! I think the standard of teams has went up as much as we have went down

I don't care as long as we're the champions. But when the huns return we'll need to up our game otherwise we'll be f****d

The huns are dead, Celtic are champions with the prospect of a double, along with performing well in Europe. Life is good.

This. Sometimes you have to give 100% to get the job done; other times you can do it on 75 or 80%. When you have to give 100% you come home totally spent with no energy for anything, not even (for those who have one) your family. I'd genuinely fear for the sanity of someone who came in to work and gave every ounce of themselves every day* regardless of whether it was needed on that day or not. I'd have to conclude that either they had super-human energy levels, or that they didn't have any kind of life outside their work (because all our little projects require a kind of "energy"). Why should footballers be any different?

    * Of course some people are unlucky enough to have jobs that require 100% effort every day, I'm obviously not talking about these people.

I thought we wanted a more competitive league yet some moan when we get it. We're the champions and we made the last 16 and we have a cup final to look forward to. I'll take that!

On a similar note, I do not imagine that the teams taking points from us are giving 100%:icon_mrgreen:

If players aren't giving 100% then they should be dropped until their attitude changes. Any player worth their salt will soon get fed up with sitting on the bench and seeing their chances of a move to a bigger league diminish.

well i'm hoping we don't get toooo cheap

we will ofcourse sell wanyama and probably hooper and a few others no doubt about that at all

the half arsed performances this season mainly in the league will mean less season tickets sold, the board are obviously aware and have introduced the £100 discount as a result

if we had played in the league at a 100% even 80% professional standards then there likely wouldn't have been a discount.

i'm having real doubts about NL as manager this season domestically our unsatisfying football is terrible to watch
if it wasnt for the champions league Neil would be getting flak from everywhere and whats to say that the champions league wasn't all down to the players with little to do in reality with Neil

I'll bet they are. They have to. We have much better players, so any less than 100% and we'd roll them over.

My biggest worry is that most people seem ok with our mediocre performance domestically. I suppose it is ok, because we beat Barcelona.

if you look at all the teams in top 6, none can really support a wage budget needed to compete with us, I'm not sure motherwell can really get much better than they are currently. I hope either hearts, aberdeen or hibs get their act together and give us a kick up the * next season so we stop dropping so many points
