Sent McGeouch out on Loan when he was on around 6k a week. He hadn't played under me yet and was requesting 20k a week so a told him to sling his hook

 

Well a guess you've still never heard of someone who's bought a game they didn't like not once but twice. How can I have not have liked it before I bought it the first time if a had never played it yet




Me and my mate played this from 7pm last night till 8 this morning. 40 minutes games we do It's a good game, had a lot of fun. The goals you can score in it can be beautiful, the swerve and dip you get on the ball is incredible and the best of any football game I've ever played.

But it still is one of the worst Fifa games I've ever played. All though i've only been playing Fifa for 4 years. The players still don't make runs you would expect in this day and age for a football game. They turn like snails. Time you turn the opposition nick the ball of you.

The play on advantage is still crap this really frustrates me. And the headers fs there so over powered.

That said.. it's still addictive, fun at times and better than that pish Pro Evo!

Aye, I agree with most of your analysis (except it being one of the worst FIFA games). I have a love-hate relationship with this game, it can play a brilliant game of football but other times I feel like putting the controller through the telly.

The patch has toned down the headers but they're still way too common. Too many times you feel utterly powerless to defend them. Nothing more frustrating than dominating a game only for them to go up and score another cheap as * header which requires zero skill.

I'v still to get to grips with the defending in general as I'm shipping goals all over the place, cursor never seems to be able to pick up the right player, going to change the settings for that as I'm losing as many games as I'm winning so far, despite having the majority of shots & possession 8 times out of 10.

 

A did play the demo but a wouldn't count that really as the demo isn't the full game

The cursor never picking the right player seems worse than ever for me aswell. It probably isn't the worst FIFA ever but I can only go by the last 4 years because I only played Pro Evo before then. It's just just so slow motion at times. Still enjoying for the most part though all though frustrating at times but what game football game isn't. And as I said the goals you can score now is superb.

Drawing 1-1 at half time against a hun and FIFA freezes, so after a few minutes I restart my Xbox and boom I have a loss. * off EA.

 

Career mode freezes like mad.

 

Skill games is the only decent thing about this.

Be a Pro mode is terrible again.

 

Ultimate team online seems way harder this year. Just struggled to get out of division 8

 

had to customise most of the settings, far too many silly bad touches and players turning as slow as the titanic ffs, now ive put game speed up, put the frequency of bad touches down and upped the shot speed a little it actually plays well. Van dijk is class in it.

However its annoyin the * outa me that players don't have an overall ratin in the transfer market

 

This is doing my head in. Why they've took this out I've no idea, probably to make us use the Scouts more but its brutal without telling us an overall.

 

It's to make use of scouts and so that people stop judging players on overall which they shouldn't be doing. It should be individual attributes.

 

hate that too, even after they spend ages scouting you still don't get an overall

I look at certain stats for certain positions but I want to know there overall to see where they fit into the team, like first teamer, subs ect

scouts are annoying and stupid

 

Had been really enjoying ultimate team this year. Built a fun to use spl team with a miix of bronze and silver players. My last 6 games though I've been handed opponents with average ratings of 78 or 80 and 100 chemistry. Thought it was meant to give you evenly matched games?

 

Whats the story about the legends i have not seen any yet never read into it so dont know if they are even in it

 

First time doing ultimate team. I got Ledley for 700 coins, is that good? I'm not paying for coins btw just using the ones i win.

 

I've struggled a bit with it this year.

Every other FIFA, not being bigheaded, but I've been good at. Since Fifa 11 all I've played is ultimate team really, never relied on pacey players and played some good football. Fifa 13 I was going on runs in division 1 where I was going a massive amount of games undefeated and at one point was 15 games undefeated in the top division. Was winning tournaments 99% of times I tried and as I said was going undefeated for days. Online seasons was the same, it suited my play style more as it's a lot slower and I got to division 1 on online seasons mode too in Fifa 13.

This year, I can't get to grips with it. I actually liked the game pre patch, I thought pace was very fair at that point, dribbling was a bit off, obviously headers needed fixing but that was it. I started to get used to it and was enjoying how rewarding passing it around and slow build up was. Then the patch came and it totally mucked it up for me. Was only winning 1 in 3 games or so and ultimate team was generally horrible.

Stopped playing UT and just playing seasons now and I must admit, the seasons mode is good this year. I like it because its slowed down and I feel like it's again more suited to me. I'm not bothering with UT this year unless they patch it and take the speed down a bit. Seasons is it for me. Admittedly I'm still not 100% used to it and am not at my Fifa 13 levels of going undefeated for long stretches, but I'm only losing every 8 games roughly so I'm happy I've got something to build on.

 

I'm 20-1-1 so far in ut. Didn't play last year's game as it just felt *. Find it much more realistic this time
