Cup Final Tickets

You're right about not being able to please everyone but I personally I wouldn't expect a final ticket if I didn't attended the semi.

 

I agree, in an ideal world all 40,000 STs could be accommodated, don't think anyone wouldn't want that! Good luck to those looking.

managed to get balloted for final, as I attend nearly all away games, but my big problem with the ticketing ballot system is how they work it out? No one knows for sure, a mate of mine is a chelski ST holder and can go online and see how many loyalty points he has and how many he would need to purchase say for example the Europa final, how hard can it be for Celtic to implement something similar, so there is no grey area for the fans. Hail hail

 

This is brilliant so the 12k or so that were at the home games will have more priority over the 20k or so that were at the semi.

Nice to know my support at the semi, which contributed to us even getting to the final, will be replaced by an uber fan.

I'm a season ticket holder and tick the box or all home cup games. I get sent all the * under the sun up to the semis and usually don't go cause I work away a lot. As a point of principle I therefore don't apply for the semi or the final in order to avoid the glory hunter tag.

This year however they wrote to me offering me a ticket which I took. Not sure why I got it but never look a gift horse in the mouth. Will probably give it to my mates son who is Celtic daft.

Posted a thread in the Ticket Exchange last week and it is still not approved. I realise Alec (Lion)'s is already up and I acknowledge that in my own thread, but come on. A selling one has been approved since then, so it must have been seen.

Appreciate it if a mod could eventually get round to approving it ?

There is no rule that says first come first served. If you happen to be offered tickets before me or anyone else who applies then that's down to your being lucky. I wish you and anyone else who is looking all the best of luck in getting tickets also.

The allocation of tickets is a bit baffling as I thought I wouldn't get one at all.
Myself and my pal got one, but my other pal didn't although he wasn't particularly interested as he is now officially loved up, a situation that hasn't happened for a while!!.
My tuppeneth; I actually believe it was done via the champions league pick up.
I bought my CL package and of course the last 16 game, but the Ticket Office "offered" extra tickets for both scenarios.
These were picked up for friends and family who travelled from home and abroad.
Other than a fair-minded ballot, which I don't think happened here IMHO, this is the only logical thing that I can think of for why people who have jumped through hoops (forgive the pun)have not got one, whilst others have.
As other posters have stipulated the maths still does not add up, but whilst demand outstrips availability, you will always be guaranteed upset.
Just saying like.............

 

Has anyone ever sat in the away end at a domestic game or at a final before? dont know how we'll be able to control ourselves in amongst the hibs support :smiley-laughing002: we'll stick out like a sore thumb not celebrating if they score or not singing any of their songs.

Hopefully we dont end up in their end!

 

I couldn't do it, would be way too hard to control yourself if we score.

Imagine if we got a late winner etc etc, if that was me I'd probably end up getting my * kicked in!
