I thought he was really good, but a player of the same kind that shone for me was Gary Mackay Steven, he was terrific. Just a constant danger to us, skill pace and a delivery, if we don't sign him I'll be raging.

    I'm not picky.
The way it's gone this season, as soon as he reaches those 6 games he'll get * injured again :smiley-laughing002:

How anyone could say he was * today, I don't know.

I've been very critical of him this season as its been frustrating watching him stagnate but I think today we saw signs of the Forrest we want to see, and expected when he broke through.

He beat his man quite a few times, even when cutting inside he looks positive, i.e. his shot that went over and his one-two with Stokes.

The times he passed it back were when the ball was played to him 5 seconds too late and he had been doubled up on. There was a lot of that today, he was in acres of space on the right, screaming for it and most the time no-one was quick enough to pick him out.

He looked much more confident and eager to have a go than usual imo.

Had a good game, great cross for the winner....

Aside of injury only thing that will keep Forrest from becoming a top winger is his decision making, but with maturity and a full run of games that will come I'm sure...

Let's not forget he's just come back from injury today and he didn't let us down

One of the most frustrating players in the squad. He has flashes of brilliance, but equally he stops in his tracks and loses interest when he gives the ball away.

Seemed to just wander about for long spells today as though he was lost, but when he did look for the ball he was the most dangerous looking Celtic player.

    Very frustrating player.

He's very, very lazy. Strolls around when he isn't on the ball, doesn't track back and rarely closes down. On the ball, however, he can be lethal. Today, he was decent, not brilliant and definitely not dreadful. Seems a tad scared to run at people the way he used to - couple of times he could have ran at Douglas but decided instead to come inside.

He's just back from yet another niggling injury don't forget.

I thought he done really well today. If he could shake off these knocks and get a full season under his belt I think he would be devastating.

He done well and was too tired to shut down in extra time which is acceptable since hes not played for ages. Dont know what Lennon was doing when he left him on and subbed Commons, the stadium nearly erupted but then 2 minutes later Forrest set up a goal :smiley-laughing002:

I thought he'd get brought off in extra time instead of Commons, he was just walking about. Thankfully however Lennon saw something there, and as a result we got a brilliant ball in that made the winning goal.

Shooders is one of those players that is either a delight to watch or when his mind is elsewhere needs a good kick up the *.

The Bhoy has talent yet spends far too long during games being lazy in my opinion. Granted he's just back from injury but if it hadn't been for the match winning cross today he'd most likely have been getting a few pelters.

Was great today. And just back from injury - a risk - makes his performance even that more impressive, If you ask me

I though James was positive and tried hard to take people on, and a great cross for the winner. Just back from injury too, 4 games out - his direct play is very important for us. Wish people would ease off and see bigger picture.

Lennon on Forrest today: "And I've got a player in James Forrest who can go on to be one of the Scottish greats, I think. Again, he was unbelievable today considering he hadn't kicked a ball for a month."

But what does Lennon know, eh? Forrest was 'dreadful' and '*.'
