The average person was far better off by the end of her government than before. The country was richer, more people were share holders, more people had access to universities, more people owned their own house, and the working class had more access routes in professional occupations.

Don't get me wrong, there is a lot I disagree with, but overall we were very lucky to have her

She was a mother and her children will be in mourning, but thats where any empathy I have for her stops. The amount of people who were left in abject poverty, suffered undue stress or were driven to an early grave because of her will always be part of her legacy. For that she can never be forgiven nor forgotten.

A horrible woman who I will not mourn but will not celebrate her demise.

Scotland, Ireland, Wales and North of England were all affected by her.

Have to say, it really is a terrible shame that Margaret Thatcher died in her home this morning.

Instead of in a Brighton Hotel 30 years ago.

Horrible human. It has only been six month since it was discovered that she covered up the policemens crime in Hillsborough.
I wont miss Thatcher one bit.

I can only imagine how Liverpool, Wales, Scotland and Ireland most feel.

That I don't agree with. As much as I * hate her . If she was killed in the Brighton bombing she would have looked liked a hero rather than a monster Among the british public.

Could add another 10 reasons on top of what Bobby posted. Also have you noticed
that all her supporters on here have one thing in common? They are in the "she never done anything to me shower"This is her legacy she created selfish individuals, thank * there were people who actually cared about each other, and never succumbed to her evil policies.Communities who still feel the wrath of the evil one are continuing to rebuild to this very day.May she not rest in peace.

The most horrific part of her legacy. What was the quote again, "there is no such thing as society".

This the same great leader that allowed the cover up of the Hillsbrough disaster? Yeah she really cared about her people.
