40 goals in the EPL is the equivalent of about 160 in the SPL especially playing for horseshit teams like Reading and Wolves. People are full of delusion on here. Robbie Keane was in the worst form of his life and still banged in an average of a goal a game for the hoops. couldn't score for * at Pool or Spurs and Doyle is a better all round player than him.

Wow he scores hat tricks against faroe islands and every friendly that no one even bothered to go and see. he hasn't scored against a top ranked team since Germany 2002 wc. Plus all he seems to do from the games i watch is tap in goals from all the trojaan work from Doyle and Long.

 

Bringing Doyle in wouldn't be the most exciting signing but he looks to have enough left in him to do a decent job, if this was 3 years ago we would be quite happy with him signing and hes not that old to have lost what he had.

 

So putting in a shift now makes you a better player than a top goal scorer,honestly that argument won't really cut it in this thread seeing as Celtic need a striker,what we don't need is a * that runs about a lot and doesn't score many goals,but hey every goal in the EPL is worth a trillion in our * league :icon_mrgreen:

I can remember Doyle's more than his as they got us out of * creek more than Keanes tap in's and peno's against part timers.
