I don't think he will stay, and again we are waiting to the last minute to do anything, about the players, boss etc – when will this club ever learn? I'm heart-sick of us not building in a position of strength, it's always in a * crisis. MEGA FED UP.

Just heard on the radio, Bellamy is off, the reason being stated is that the board cannot afford his wages.

 

This is a nonsense. I saw real hope with Bellamy - where the * do we go now?????? This is back to the same situation when Larsson left, if not worse.....

 

It's worse mate, because if we can't afford his wages then why the * were we paying Camara and Juninho close to what Bellamy was getting ? Lambert was getting 30k+ a week for fuckall. At least when Larsson left we still had a semi decent team who had a bit of oooomph left in them but as the season has progressed we have seen that dwindle away. From despair to where Mr Quinn ?

 

At this rate we are going to struggle to compete with rangers next season, never mind in Europe.

ive got real radio online (www.realradio.com) as they seem quite good on football and the phone in from 6pm-8pm UK time is quite good... though tonight they have david murray on so it wont be on at my place tonight...

after losing the league i just couldnt really see him staying,even before that i wasnt too sure. i wasnt sure whether we could afford to keep him&wasnt sure whether he wanted to. its a pity though,coz he is a really good player.

I think the main reason Bellamy will go will be because of the league we are playing in. I can't see him going to rangers because they can't afford him and they're also playing in the same * league as us.

 

i really respect Bellers for the way he has behaved at Celtic, he was the model professional and i will be really sad to see him go. He got the third biggest cheer of the day but he can expect that as it was jackies match and no one will ever beat Henk at CP. He loves the celtic fans and we love him but we have to respect his decision and he is in his prime and i cant blame him for wanting to test himself in the best leagues. However i would hate to see him go to any club outside the top 7 in England as i feel he is better than that. I'll never forget what he has done here at Celtic and hope he always remembers that we hate souness more than him and thats why he might stay.

Bellamy is looking for 50k a week and i dont think we are going to pay that this figure has been quoted on several english sites of teams he has been linked to such as villa,bham city,everton,blackburn all of these teams are no great shakes but it seems like a money thing saying that i would love him to stay here.

 

The truth is, Bellamy is far too good for Scottish football, he wants too much money and his heart is not with Celtic.

 

he is too good for scotland, but i wonder if he'll move to a club that isnt looking at europe next year like villa or birmingham..at least celtic can offer some CL qualifiers
