    Aye mate, even now it's better the most, although you can tell the lifestyle he lived has taken a bit of a toll. His voice with the early soundgarden and temple of the dog stuff's incredible.

    That's a great song man.one of my favourite songs ever is 4th July...his voice on that as well as the others on superunknown is just,as you say,incredible

    Etta James has to be up there in my opinion. I think Bono's voice is often underrated probably because he comes across as a pompous * but still, incredible voice.

    Singer - Chris Cornell, Corey Taylor, Brad Arnold (so underrated, 3 Doors Down singer)

    Band is a hard one. I want to say my favourites but I know they aren't the best:smiley-laughing002:

    Anyway, favourites are Black Stone Cherry, 3 Doors Down, Shinedown and Avenged Sevenfold not far behind.

    I love scruffy, uncouth hobo types!

    Waits is the best of them. But I think the likes of Dylan, Cave, Earle, Cohen, etc, is about as good as music gets.
