Could never see it happening will be happy to get any kind of result in italy and show Europe that we weren't just in the hat to make up the numbers.

But just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons anything is possible in football i mean come on CHELSEA won the champions league last year and they were one of the worst teams in it and are still *!!

You would go and play for a draw?

That is the most idiotic thing I have ever read.

4-2-4 in Turin. If we lose 7-0 on aggregate so be it but we MUST have a * go at getting back into it.

If we go out from the start well, we have a very small chance. They will be relaxed, probably complacent. Go out all guns blazing and get an early goal we have a chance. We had enough of the ball in the last game to score 3, so why not now.

With Wanyama and Ambrose playing up front and every defensive midfielder we have out their, we could do it:)

Just for the craic, i'm gonna suggest an outrageous approach

    Izaguirre
    Wilson
    Rogne
    Lustig

    Mulgrew
    Brown
    Kayal
    Commons

    Ambrose
    Wanyama

    Subs: Hooper, Miku and Samaras

We go old skool, target fitba, long ball style. We win 6-0.

Or.... we go 4-5-1 and try to keep the score down:)

We've made it extremely difficult for ourselves, but I won't say it's over. If Juve get the first goal in the return leg, then it's over. If we get the first goal, then it kind of galvanizes us, and makes the tie seem less insurmountable. We get the 2nd goal and it's game on! So from kick-off, we'll just be 1 goal away from being in the mindset "If we get another goal, its game on"

We have made great strides this season and enhanced our reputation, especially with the performances against Barcelona. I think its important to maintain that respect and reputation and not risk a possible hiding which might overshadow our overall achievement.

I was bursting with pride, as we all were after beating Barca. Tuesday was tough to take, especially with the decent performance, but we seriously risk humiliation if we believe we can go to Turn and attack like Tuesday. They are a brilliant side and they will punish us.

That's less "for the craic" and more "are you on crack?" :smiley-laughing002:

I'd respectfully suggest "idiotic" is going to the home of the Italian champions, 3-0 down and playing a 4-2-4 formation. They pay with a 5 man midfield and will absolutely crucify us!

there is a place in the last 8 at stake.

Anything less than going there and taking the game to them is not an option.

Like Lenny said, we need a miracle. But we did control the game in the first leg, and a stronger refereeing performance would have allowed us to score some goals. There's no reason why we can't control the game again in Turin, particularly with Sammy back and a CB who hasn't played a match and had a 10 hour flight in the previous 2 days. I just really hope we go for it, nothing to lose and we saw how well we played when we took the game to them at CP. Get an early goal, very much a possibility. Another before half time, also possible, and all of a sudden the tie's wide open. From there anything can happen.

    I'd play.

    Forster

    Matthews Wilson Mulgrew Izzy

    Brown Wanyama

    Forrest Commons Samaras

    Hooper

The most attacking team we could probably put out.

Aye Paul i like that set up a lot, far more sensible than the "On Crack" version, with Efe and Ambrose upfront on a search and destroy mission:)

The day we go out not to win (or get a winning result) is the day this club has changed in my eyes.

And the above lineup is atrocious.

Early goal for us then there's a slight chance, early goal for them and its totally curtains. Not holding out too much hope to be honest but who knows. I didnt think Juve were as amazing as the media made out but will see what they're like at home.

If we do win in Turin I would be a happy! Don´t see us winning 3-4:0 but tbh still very content with this years display :notworthy:

Modern day would have to be Henrik...
Not being daft here by any means - if they score first then the best we could hope for is a win over there but getting pumped out on away goals - but * me - we're Celtic ffs - we aren't Forfar * Athletic - If Juventus turn it on in Turin and become the team everyone apparently thinks they are, then fair do's - we'll have been beaten by a far better side - but we know how we can play - and we know that on another day we would have beaten that shower of * who turned up on Tuesday. If the same team turns up in a few weeks, and we get our act together, then who knows. One thing is for sure, we aren't going to win by sitting in our own 18 yard area. Defending is all well and good, but as a very famous manager once said, the best place to defend is in the opposition's penalty box. We tried that on Tuesday and it was great to watch - I was absolutely thrilled that we had dispensed with some of the uber defensive * I have seen us play in Europe and were going for them. Unfortunately our defence had a 'mare and we allowed ourselves to be rag-dolled in the (obviously forlorn) hope that the officials would penalise illegal behaviour.
    * 'em.
Until I see otherwise, I am convinced we can take the game to these chancers in Turin and give them a fkn shock
