Efe was too far away from his man to get a tackle in for the first.

If you watch Virgil for the second he completely stopped, abysmal defending.

The sending off, Mulgrew looked like someone had tied his shoelaces together, * disgusting lack of composure and then Efe dived in when he should have just stayed on his feet as he had more pace than the guy.

The two penalties, well Mulgrews lazy tackles and * poor positioning was sickening for them.

The 3rd goal, Izzy was caught high up the pitch, then was running through treacle even though hed only been on for about 10mins

and the fourth Izzy again was turned four or five times without getting a tackle in and Mulgrew again left Virgil with two men.

That's not to mention the other half a dozen clear cut opportunities they had. All in all * cringeworthy stuff most of which started with atrocious passing and movement and that's without mentioning our dire attacking contribution.

His lack of awareness, intelligence and common sense... Shocking to say the least, you need to know your limits as a footballer. Having said this tonight was as much his fault as the rest of them. Am I the only one that thinks we have more than enough players carrying weight? They looked like they were just back from a night wae the polish hookers and a cheap cargo!

Ambrose is a good player. He made a mistake tonight but we had no midfield, nearly all the players were poor. I blame the manager for that defeat everything was set up wrong from the beginning.

C'mon to * Ambrose is a bombscare. He should be told: dont dive in, if in doubt put it out and keep it simple. That is schoolboy stuff and he can't do it.

Still love him, still our best option to partner Virgil by far. At home though I think we should go: Matthews, Lustig, Virgil, Izzy. If that works out well, Ambrose will finally have some competition.

I didn't say he was perfect but you can't blame him for this result. The tactics and line up was wrong. Our midfield was shocking and there was hardly any decent performances from us.

Well well well, like I said he would be shown up for what he really is against a team that wasn't part timers. And that he was. Pukki included.

    Pukki party anyone?

Of course he's not solely to blame but he's still a bombscare and thats discounting this performance. The whole team possibly minus McGregor and Berget (who was rotten but was unfairly thrown into the starting 11 from nowhere) are to blame they were all horrendously poor. The managers tactics are also just asking too much of our players and his decisions throughout the night when things were going wrong were extremely naive. On top of that the boards unwillingness to spend any money on proven quality has come a cropper.

Get rid of Ambrose and Mulgrew.
Buy a couple of decent CBs as well as a couple for other positions.
    Last night was an embarrassment.

Wasn't his fault for the sending off. I think most people woulda made that tackle.

Sold up the river by Mulgrew last night. Poor tackle but he obviously felt like he had to make it. Took one for the team and sadly it didn't pay off. He was rotten before the red card, though.

He DIDN'T have to make the tackle! A ball winning challenge was too high risk... and ultimately too poorly executed (like everything Efe did last night). The guy still had to control the ball and beat Foster.

I'd far rather have lost a goal at that stage in the tie than a player!
