Was going to say that, he has been a different player this season.
Harsh criticism from the forum on him.

He just has to keep it simple more often, and it's been said countless times before.

Sometimes all that is required is a big hump up the pitch.

I may be acting very fickle but I don't know if Ambrose is good enough at this level....there have been too many games where he has made huge mistakes....far too many. We all love his Messi-esque runs, but there's a time and a place for that - and the Nou Camp is certainly not the place

He fits in with the rest of the team perfectly then.

He's not exactly weak but to make out that's the only thing he has couldn't be more far off if you tried..
Ask anybody what his strength is and you won't hear many strength answers..

Bad tonight and has had a few moments but I agree I'm very happy with the pairing of efe and VVD,it's been on the whole a big plus as had the whole back line..

    I'm not picky.
He's been one of our best players this season and has rarely put a foot wrong. He took a lot of flak last season after the Juventus games, but he has played really well this season. He had a bad night tonight, along with the rest of the players.

People who thinks he's a player no NOTHING about football and defending.

    1. Ball Watches
    2. 3 seconds behind the play
    3. Cant anticipate were the ball is.
    4. gets barged off the ball regularly
    5. thinks he's a forward and gets caught out of position a lot etc etc.

Ps. Come back Oliver Tebily all is Forgiven.

Are you that much of a glory hunter fan that you don't even bother watching games on TV unless it's against Barcelona?

Ambrose has been phenomenal this season and you are going to make your judgement on him tonight, against Barca of all teams.

    Ram it.

Clearly you are never going to be happy unless we create a time machine and bring back Franco Baresi and Franz Beckenbauer. Enjoy watching your videos of ''real'' players.

Phenomenal :56: What Champions League games has he been phenomenal in this season? :97: We've conceded 14 goals and he was shocking for 5 or 6 of them. He looks good with his daft runs against Aberdeen or St.Mirren with all the space in the world and little to trouble him, up against any good player and he is * murder. He's a total bombscare 1v1, such a poor defender. He was beyond abysmal tonight, and was a pisstake against Milan too.

Right, not phenomenal... I just like the guy. Him and Van Dijk have a cracking partnership. Every player but Lustig and Van Dijk have been awful in Europe this season, so slating him is pointless. As for his league opponents, you can only play what is in front of you and he strolls through domestic games.

Great player in the Scottish game been found out in Europe, but keeping him and Virgil as a pairing may help his game

Rarely put a foot wrong?! * off! I think he has improved since he first came here, but he makes one woeful mistake a game which could cost us. He gets away with it a lot in the SPL, but in Europe he has been shown up time and time again. In no way can he compete at European football standard, SPL is his level and always will be.
