  1. What a horrible decision from Lennon to start him. I am raging. Why, why, why start Efe DAYS after playing in a tournament and HOURS after landing in Glasgow???

    So disappointed tonight.

For 80 minutes, the team put up a * of a fight. It was really ours for the taking and we squandered too many chances. But I just can't get my head around my OP. Our main mistake tonight.

Don't think it's really fair that Lennon has just stormed down the tunnel as soon as the whistle has gone, as well.

  2. Shouldn't have started

  3. He was the difference in the scoreline tonight. Shocking decision to play him. It was clear that he should have been hooked at half time.

  4. * of with him big time. Lennon has to take a lot of blame for it.

    Although it was schoolboy stuff.

  5. This one's all on Lennon in my eyes. Efe should've never seen the pitch today.

  6. * i mean just * lenny why:47:

  7. Stupid decision to play him

  8. So it's ok for half the stadium to empty 5-10 mins before time but then Lennon gets criticised for walking down the tunnel.

Score line did not represent the true game. Proud of the bhoys

  9. I thought Efe was ok- just he got punished-in another game they wouldn't have scored!

  10. Ambrose probably played to accomodate Mulgrew and his set piece taking. I'd have stuck Mulgrew or Lustig at centre half and put Matthews in at right back. It back fired big time and i'm positive he'll stand up and take the blame for team selection tonight.

  11. missed a * sitter as well how did he not score that

  12. he played in the African final 2 days ago ffs. Absolute ridiculous decision to play him

  13. He played like dogshit. Let's be honest, here.

Combine that with what should have been at least one penalty shot for us and the effects of having to fight back for 75 minutes and you get what we saw tonight.

I'm proud as * of the team as a whole, they played their * off, completely played a team worth ten times more money right off the pitch for the Lion's share of the match, they were just completely unlucky. We are basically * going to Turin now... Juventus can stand back and defend this huge lead easily.

Hopefully, in the next round they will draw BVB or Barca and get hammered. I hate Italian football.

  14. Merge this * thread into the usual Ambrose one, I don't want to see this * now.

  15. Should never have started.

I am actually stunned that he did. He might have been fit but he hasn't been involved in the training and formations and set plays for the last few days.

Lenny made a serious * up, rogne was excellent against Caley and should have at lest started on the bench.

It's easy to say this now though, Ambrose could have stopped the goal and scored the header and we would be hailing Lenny and Efe.

Then again, if my brother had a * he'd be my sister.

Talk about Hero too Zero:54: I have to say like a lot here Lenny has too take blame on this one. Anyone here who has been on a long distance flight knows what state you do be in, certainly not fit for a game of ball, especially after a tournament and especially not aginst Juve in the Champions league. Gutted its ended like this.

  16. He made a misjudgement with the flight of the ball for the 1st goal, but Forster was pretty hesitant coming off his line.

His dawdling for the 2nd was infuriating and he does it all the time. Unfortunately at this level you get punished.

I thought for the rest of the game he was absolutely fine.

I feel bad for him. He has just went from what was probably the greatest high of his career, maybe life, to the low of being made a scapegoat for 1 misjudgement and 1 bad bit of play.

  17. Easy to say with hindsight. But aye he was * shocking, I mean really really bad. Cost us to goals, missed a sitter and blocked forrest's shot that looked goal bound.

  18. This shouldn't have been near the starting line up :31:

  19. Was utter pish tonight and it was all down to him we lost by 3 goals and not had the game at 1 each missed a sitter as well, but as much as he is to blame so is lennon for starting him to be fair, can't knock the other 10 men out their played well * gutted at the score line.
