Hooper would be solid to replace if we sold him on the first day of the window, nevermind the last.

Confident he wont go, would be * myself if it was Spurs who came in with a genuine bid, but its just too late now and imo 7 million is a weak offer.

Think of it this way, he has a chance to play two games in the last 16 of the CL for what will most likely be the only opportunity to do so in his career, and also lift a trophy and a cup at the end of the season.

Fair enough going to Norwich would mean playing better opposition week in week out, but thats it really. Its logic that he will stay, I know I would.

 

This £8 million figure is coming from the media and rumours only as Lenny has repeatedly said he won't name a price for Hooper, though obviously he and Pete have discussed a minimum figure they would consider in private. People forget also it's not just a case of us accepting an offer the player also has to agree to the move.

I cant see us bringing anyone in now. Im suprised there has been no interest in wanyama. Although i dont want him to go, a part of me wants to see who's interested in him and what they offer

 

alvaro negredo is still available for transfer we could do a lot worse and go for him sevilla have terrible financial probs so would maybe accept a lower estimate then 6 million

 

Considering he's stated himself that he won't be moving in this transfer window it's no really surprise that no one's bothered to put in an offer for him.

 

I would point blank refuse to sell to Norwich after wasting our time with such pathetic offers.

Hoping we can bring in GMS & Russell tonight though, if we leave these 2 for too long an English club will snap them up and we'll lose out again like with Steve Fletcher

 

Doubt we'll sign anyone don't mind as long as no one leaves

 

The only player I see us realistically signing today is a third choice goalkeeper.
