    I was meaning outwith European games. Also Aberdeen was 48,251.

    You can't dress it up, when a club our size has to give tickets away to get our first 50K+ attendance in the league something is really wrong - ticket pricing i believe is the primary factor. We have a right to be annoyed at that.

    Pishalish. No way were there 12k empties for flag day, even though away fans at CP this season have been utterly * that still doesn't account for that little.
    And I agree ticket prices need to come down but Celtic can do nothing until UEFA and FIFA make serious moves to do something they need to come down across the board, if we lower them on our own we'll just lose out massively.

    You just can't please some people. Some guys are on here complaining about our attendances day and night and then Celtoc have a decent idea to try and fill the ground up a bit and people just pick holes in it! Personally, I think it's a great gesture by the club. They were under no pressure to do anything of the sort and hopefully it pays off. I already have to people going to the st.mirren game who haven't been to a game since may, how is that a bad thing ?

    Got 8 tickets for the St Mirren match and 2 for the Ross County match. I think that it was good of Celtic to make this offer available to season ticket holders.

    and what if they are trying to boost the crowds at home games is that a problem..?

    Finally a positive move with tickets from the club. Good timing too I think with christmas coming up. Will be much apprecaited and be good PR for the club. Now if they would just look at the match day ticket prices and start to try and come up with more innovative ways to price games that would be great as well.

    Their hands are tied with matchday ticket prices due to the price of season tickets. Let's hope all change for the better next season although that is highly unlikely.
