Same age as Lubo was when we signed him. How many fans questioned that signing?

33 is not too old now for a footballer. Especially Italians who are masters at looking after themselves.

I still feel we lack a little bit of experience and an older head at times. Iaquinta could maybe fit the bill. And has already been said, who wouldnt want someone with that quality.

Too old to fit the profile of player we are trying to sign. Not for me, this one!

    What a player :50:

Not really fair to say they are two similar players. They are dissimilar both in style and physique.

For some reason I was thinking about him today, and then I find out he is rumoured to be coming? Strange coincidence...anyway, I don't know about this one really. He didn't look great when he was on loan at Cesena last season, he scored 1 in 7. I mean, he is a proven internationalist, but he is 33 now. He could come here and be a Lubo or come here and be a Ljungberg, you're taking a gamble.

Even if Miku, who is only here on loan anyway, leaves in Jan - do we really need another ST?

We already have Hooper, Stokes, Lassad and Watt - with Sammy also an up front option.

Just wondering if there's any truth in the Hooper to Juve story, with Iaquinta thrown in to sweeten the deal...

Even if that is the case, not that many Italians leave Serie A - plus he and his Mrs have 3 kids, so a tough call there also...

I think most fans would tell you the jury's def not out on Lassad. Have only heard good things from most people on here. My own opinion is that he's one of the best technical players we have.

Stokes isn't out of contract in summer.

sdickinson doesn't like him so says 'the jury is still out'.

i'm, along with the majority of the support is with you. Lassad is good. quite surprised with him tbh. didn't expect him to settle so quickly.

Ditto. Seems quite the model professional in the way he's come in and done a job for us so soon.

More of the same kind of signings this month please Lenny! :50:
