    No, it doesn't.

Look at Scotland and English national teams.

    Then look at Spain...

Technical ability * all over physicality, everyday of the week.

And what about the speed of play or as i stated fastness anyone can pass the ball around but its the speed of play that makes barca the best team in the world

also remember we almost got a draw from barca by being physical and Chelsea won the champions league so hardly * over physicality.

That's technical ability mate, thats control. Barca stroll through games then ramp it up, Stoke play faster and more physical than Barca. It just doesn't compare to physical ability.

*, look at the man whose thread we're in. Almost no physicaliity or pace at all and he was an utter genius. Lubo Moravcik as well....

Man City vs Ajax seems to be a good example right about now

    Sorry, your fulla dug meat.

Faster does not make a better standard of football....

A highly competitive league with teams all very similar to each other in which the majority of the players are technically gifted Japanese, Korean and Brazilian's.

It is also no where near as slow as you think.

Naka was hardly gifted with pace yet he managed to survive with a very weak physique in a ruff and tumble fast paced league and was often the best player on the park.

The Scottish League will no doubt drop to over 20th best football competition in Europe next Season while the J league is the most competitive and considered the best league in Asia.

Your opinion of the J-League sounds as if the last match you watched was 2001 or something. Things have dramatically changed.

I would take him back it would be financially beneficial and would be more useful on our bench than mccourt etc

Don't rubbish someones conjecture only to feed them yours back and expect them to listen to you. There really is nothing set in stone. I don't agree with either of you, although i would probably be leaning towards Naka being past it.

You cannot say the j-league is better than the SPL.
If you do, you simply betray your own futile attempts to hide your stupidity. Surely you cannot compare a league characterised by strong, tall, fast players and making the most of them attributes to a league where the average height is 5'7 and like to play highly-technical, slow paced football.
It is like trying to comparing a plum and a bannana, they're a both fruit but that's about it.
You seem to be a universal abnormality in the fact you come across as both a plum and a banana.

The more you post the more I understand you are a hypocrite and an idiot, not really a Celtic fan.
    Hardly all inclusive.
Do not berate fans for having an opinion different from your own it makes you look like a narrow minded *.

Show some respect to your fellow Tims you horrible, angry, wee man.

Having read this post I realise you talk bucket loads of *.
I don't know if i agree with anything in your post here.
    Pure guesswork and conjecture again.
It seems like it is you who needs to stop feeding people your opinion as fact.
I don't buy anything you say and neither should/will anyone else who reads your tripe.
    Pish talking Hun in disguise.

He may be 34 but he was never one that dabbled in pace or strength anyway. He was an intelligent, technically gifted footballer and these traits don't decline - look at Lubo, Pirlo and the like. Zero pace just gifted footballers that know/knew their limitations and maximised their strengths.

He'd maybe struggle here physically but then I'm sure there were those who said that when he signed in the first place. Not saying he'd necessarily be the same player but could perhaps fill a hole when it comes to creativity.

Having said all that I can't see it happening.

I would take him back, the amount of times this season we have not been on our game and lacked a bit of inventiveness, I think he could bring that to us for half a season or more if he is up to it

Still has a year on his contract, valued at 1.5 million, not so sure if it's the kind of signing we'd make. Still playing all the games, scoring and lots of assists for Yokohama.

I would actually be excited by this signing even if he only has just one european freekick left in him
