can't believe you guys are blaming italy because of match fixing, supporters trouble etc.

if you think it will be slighty better in ukraine, you are wrong my dear fellows.

on the other hand I think poland are very capable of doing it, and it will improve the country in a few ways :50:

Why Italy? Again? They had Euro, WC x 2. Sure, it's the easiest and very secure way to choose well know country with strong football inside and say with a smile that they deserve it eg because of wining last WC, close location to major European countriues or just the best presentation before selection. Well, voting for Poland and Ukraine is more than a "normal" choice. For us It will be a huge hipermassive kick to improve a lot of areas eg: stadiums, hotels, airports, highways, tourism, general infrastructure etc (Italy has all of these things!). And a lot of You will have an occasion to visit Poland and see how beautiful is. And there is a possibility that 24 teams will play in E2012 so maybe two more cities will host tournament (including great Krakow).

And after we have beautiful girls, the best beer in the world and these are very important advantages as well! :34:

    Cheers!
    Maq :60:

its good that these countries are getting the chance to hold these events. football should be spread about and the tournaments should not just be given to the biggest nations.
not been to either country, but was in romania last year for a taekwon-do tournament and it was really poor in my opinion. the transport links (such as the state of the roads) were awful. just hope that poland and the ukraine are not as bad.

Agree mate, but you have to notice that: As the WC 2006 in Germany the prices also increased everywhere!!! In my town which were only a telebeam - lol - to watching football, during the WC the equal pints grew up at 1.5 € - it was a * disgrace :47: .

I believe that this will also happen in Poland, but I still think for Scotish ppl. it will be cheap anyway!!!

Here you can be sure as *, that this is exactly so like you say - lol.

Drinking good icecold polish beer, sit in a cafe looking the burds walking ..........................ooooooooooohhhhhh I realy hope my wife won´t read this post - *!!!!

To all people who ask: "why Ukraine? Do they have any transpor there?"
Well... don't know if you know that but the "happy hours" in Europe when EU was giving a lot of money to the union members are gone. Countries like Ukraine (who wants to be a EU member in a near future) can't rely on european politics when they say: "we will help you"...

And once again football can help poor people. Ukraine - a truly but believe me LOVELY country now was given a chance to become a respectable european nation. During next 5 years this country will build many miles of freeways, stadiums, hotels etc etc....

The situation here in Poland looks better if we talk about transport and infrastructure but our lack of stadiums is a real pain in the *...

So what you're afraid about? Don't worry guys... In the next five years Poland and Ukraine gonna be different countries. Thanks to UEFA...

So see you in Poland and Ukraine in 2012. It will be a great time... can't believe? Ask any of your friends who has ever been here ;)

You have obviously not tried Tesco's own brand. One can of that and three bottles of Smirnoff and your half way there.

UEFA President Michel Platini was heading a UEFA delegation that visited the host countries for UEFA EURO 2012, Poland and Ukraine.

After this visit there are some rumors that Euro 2012 will be held only in Poland (maybe Poland + Germany).

"Ukraine now has only three months to make it or break it, UEFA President gave an ultimatum to Ukraine, to show a real progress in its preparations to Euro 2012 or loose the right to host the most popular European football event - Euro Cup. We'll see how long the Ukrainian-Polish marriage will last and if it will last at all"
