    Seems a bit odd that Roma have sent him out on loan, to Milan of all clubs. Surely if it was to give him a regular start they shouldn't have sent him to a club bigger than Roma? :smiley-laughing002:

    No he hasn't. He came off the bench on his debut against Bologna. Came off the bench against Atalanta in the next game and again against Udinese. Started against Parma, Zenit and Inter as well.

    Adu played for Benfica and he was no wasted talent.....he had no talent at all!!!!!!!

    Ricardo Quaresma....one of the best players i´ve seen with the ball! He was very good when he was playing for the contract......He played in the same youth team (Sporting CP) has Cristiano Ronaldo, and he was far better than Ronaldo. But then came Ronaldo´s hard work, and Quaresma´s hard nights..........

    Another wasted talent is Fabio Paim. Many of you may not heard of Fabio. He is still young but will never achieve the potential he had.
    He was probably the best youth player ever to touch a portuguese pitch.....Ronaldo once said, when he played in Manchester, “If you think I’m good, just wait until you see Fabio Paim”. At the age of 13 he was already earning lots of money.......that was the major problem!

    He wasn't doing too bad at Arsenal. Then Wilshere came through and he got injured, he's still an Arsenal player but on loan at Sao Paolo. Never know if he'd have got back in the team the last year+ since Wilshere has been injured for ages now. Wouldn't say he's wasted talent just yet.

    Speaking of Man Utd. Bebe, they have signed a few youngsters for mad cash, and they've never been heard of again.

    Just seen he's on loan in Turkey. Only 22 odd so might still have a decent career.

    Just read it off wiki at first. He's played 8 times and hasn't scored.

    Just shows you how bad Milan are at the moment when Bojan gets a game so frequently.

    I live 30km of Guimarães, and when Manchester bought Bebé for €9M from Vitoria Guimarães i thought "WHO?!?!?!?".....no one ever heard of him in Portugal, and he had never been to a portuguese national squad before.....well that was Jorge Mendes at his best turning * into gold!

    Aye, wasn't saying he's been playing well... just that he's played more than the once :smiley-laughing002:

    Pazzini is the clear choice ahead of him in my eyes, they are a visibly better team when he is on. El Shaarawy has been playing well this season as well so I see no reason for Bojan's appearances to be of any great length unless injuries occur.

    Fabio Paim will always be an example in portuguese football on how not to treat young players! He was absolutely amazing with the ball! And Sporting had players like Ronaldo, Quaresma, Simão, Figo, Moutinho, Futre, Cadete, among others, coming from the same Academy,......and Paim was the very best of them all at young age!

    Giuseppe Rossi - Left Man Utd for Villareal and seemed to be doin no bad then they got relegated and he picked up a bad injury. Still only 25 though so time is on his side but he needs to get fit and get himself a new club.
