Just Celtic and head to head. Sharing formations, custom tactics ans squad line up. What is working best for you guys?


So far my most successful appears to be straight 4-4-2.

Tried and 4-2-4 for a while and was fairly successful but I hated defending with 4-2-4!

Can't break the dv6 barriers and I won the title once on fifa 12.
Have I turned terrible over night? Or has someone got a healthy formation/ lineup to share?

 

As mentioned in the other thread, most people seem to be having joy with the 4-2-3-1 formation.

I have never failed to win using that team.

 

I play 4-2-3-1, exactly the same line up as the others mentioned, except I play Ledley instead of brown

I used to play Ledley instead of Commons, but Ledley canny finish his dinner in this game

best formation ive found for combination passing etc, wanyama is a beast at the back.​

 

I think Brown is quality on this mate, 85 pace & 83 strength! He's everywhere.

Ps. What's with the lack of specialties/traits for Celtic this year? Has it gone up to a minimum of 90 for the individual stat to get the trait? Forrest & Emilio had the Acrobat trait (several others had traits too) last year and now they haven't.

Feel the stooper partnership is good on the game always sub commons for sammy to add pace

 

I'v not tried Stokes yet as he only was recently added. I don't know who I'd drop him for though.

 

I play Ledley because he is the best passer in the team, might try brown instead of kayal though

 

I play a 4-2-3-1 with the LAM and RAM really wide, two CDM who control the game (usually ledley and kayal), wee forrest with his pace on the right, sammy with his height on the left and commmons close to hooper.

 

I don't use Celtic that often but it's this when I do:

What is it with lassad not being in it?

 

I don't know. It's a weird one. Was rated a respectable 72 last year for Deportivo aswell.

 

I have my own custom formation which is a variation of a 4-2-4 with a sort of diamond up top.

Could be doing with a left winger in all honesty so a lot of my play comes down the right hand side. In my career mode I signed Gary Mackay-Steven and he has been brilliant, him and Forrest are basically the same.

Wanyama is an absolute machine and is outstanding for me when he's attacking corners. Got a hat trick online the other day for me.

In Fifa 12 I played this formation and used Izaguirre on the wing and he was brilliant. Totally forgot and just remembered there so I'll need to try him when I play next !

Tried the 4-2-3-1 and works a treat until I hit dv6. The goals are drying up as though this formation is in effective against players who organise defence better. Has anyone passed dv6 with this formation?
