No, just the idea of it has thrown up all this "Old Firm" pish in the papers once more. * hate the tag, * hate the inbreds that follow Sevco, and the people who try and associate us with a 3 month old club.

No. I seriously don`t understand our support sometimes. Everyone wanted them dead but they since the club has died, people seem even more obsessed with this new club. Seriously, why give a *? They`re a division 3 club, they are completely irrelevant to us now. People wanted rid of the Old Firm tag, they`re not doing a good job of getting rid of it

I'm beginning to wonder just how many Celtic fans really meant it when they said they wanted Rangers to die.

 

Briefly thinking about it, it would be good to get them and pump them stupid but I voted no and it's purely because I wouldn't want them infesting our stadium once again with their orc-like zombie stench, grunting all over the place, dragging their knuckles on the ground, vandalising the changing rooms and seats.

It was bad enough before when Hun FC were alive, hearing the * fill the air with their foul bigoted & sectarian bile, chanting * towards our manager, waving their stupid wee Union Jack flags all over the place with their "we arra peepil" mentality. I sure as * don't want to see that again polluting the hollowed ground of Paradise from this new club from Division 3.

All that plus I'd resent them getting half of the match takings as well.

Why does anyone want to play a 3rd Division team with no history? They can get GTF, so far as I am concerned.

 

I never said i wanted them to die and i am sure a few others didn't either so for me i am in no way being hypocritical when i say i would love to draw them for the next round.

 

What I'd hate is BBC, Sky sports and the likes banging on about an 'old firm game'. They are not Rangers therefore it is not an old firm game.

No, like someone else said it's a new club. We've never played them. Why start now?

 

I hope we avoid them in the cups for as long as possible, preferably a number of years, to emphasise the fact that the old Rangers are well and truly gone by the time we eventually meet the newco in a match.

If there's a derby so soon after the old clubs demise, they'll paint it as business as usual, same old Celtic vs Rangers. Why dignify that line of thought. Avoid them at all costs I say.

 

If they beat us we would never hear the end of it.

Don't know about anyone else but I have found it refreshing as * not worrying about the games against the dead club. It was a relief when we won, horrible when we got beat, and I was getting sick to the core of there vile bigotry. Few seasons without games against this tribute act because they will crawl back into the SPL eventually (maybe not as according to them we would all go * up without them :smiley-laughing002, so no newco for me
