Saw his reserve games on Celtic TV the last few weeks. He really looks a player with natural all-round ability and self confidence. Seriously meteoric rise through the ranks. There is just something about him. Not sure if it will be next season or maybe more likely the season after but I am sure he is going to make it. We have to watch he doesnt get out of contract and have another Miller situation on our hands in a couple of years-basically leaving us just as he really blossoms.

 

well he scored for the reserves in their last match so he must be good

He could be our next 30 goal a seasoner

 

like i said in another thread 30 goals a season in the SPL is a thing of the past .....Sheridan will prove his worth ...would have played 2 or 3 times more but a fall damaging his back and breaking his hand put paid to that ........he will get more games im sure

 

Well I think we already have the right player at the club in Riordan and hopefully he will start up top with VOH against St Johnstone. But if we can win the title next time out at Kilmarnock then that leaves us with 4 games to give the likes of Cillian Sheridan some valuable spl experience.
Could well be that by next season Sheridan moves upto being a regular first team squad player as a replacement squad striker up front if we sell one of our current goal shy strikers.

He is gonna be a big player for us in the future , Tommy Burns said he is getting better every training session he has

 

looks a lot better than miller and beattie combined.

 

give the guy a chance. all young players need to be given a chance. he could be the next best thing, but we will only ever know if we use him.

 

Hopefully once we wrap the league up he will get some Needed SPL experience and could be a big hit next season

 

I'd rather see Riordan getting a game at the moment tbh. Stick the bhoy out on loan next season at Motherwell or somewhere and see how many he scores in real league games with real pressure.

What a * finish! You couldn't really see any of our current first team squad plucking a goal out of nowhere like that with such a brilliant finish! I say get him in ahead of miller and beattie any day!

Let alone in that one game he got into he set up the winner. A shot that even kenny couldnt miss.

Why is he not ready?

 

To be fair it was a good finish by Kenny that day for once.

But doing it in the reserves is a lot different to doing it in the league. That's why i think he should get some time out on loan as a bridge been reserve football and the Celtic first team.

 

A shot like what he took is something that could be taken in the SPL as well. Its not like the defenders or goalie could do anything to stop a shot like that.
