Match reduced to 19 overs each. Ireland record a 129 run total for their innings.

I'd be scared of Gayle if I was Irish.

I'm Scottish but am a Sri Lanka fan if we're not there and it looks like we'll have to play them in the Super 8 stage.....but England as well so I hope Sri Lanka * annihilate them.

Never watch normal cricket but love the World Cups.

Ireland out because the match was abandoned due to rain. West Indies had a better net run rate before the game so they go through. The ridiculous rules of cricket shine through again. if you're going to host a world cup of cricket.. either have a good climate or * roofs. :31:

Australia pretty much through to the Final 4.

India knocked Pakistan also - always a fiery contest.

Anyone been keeping tabs on the Final of the T20 World Cup?

Sri Lanka have done pretty well early on, but the last few overs saw Samuels and then Sammy smash about 60 runs in the last 5 overs, which lifted the West Indies to a total of 138.

SL now need 139 to win.
