2 teams to win the SPL? Celtic and our under 21's/reserves.

 

We still trounced them 4-0 the last time we played them at Tynecastle and 5-0 at Parkhead though (final day of the season), and that was when they still had the likes of Skacel, who is a very good SPL level player.

I think they managed to push Liverpool all the way because the latter never really got out of second gear in both legs. Once Hearts scored at Anfield, Liverpool went up the park and scored straight after. I was getting the sense that if Liverpool really wanted to hammer them, they could have. Tottenham done it last year.

 

I know mate, I just think it's a wee bit etter than it gets credit for.

 

2 good teams on paper. But must admit am not that impressed with chalmers - based on the very little I seen of him

 

i remember rangers a number of years back saying they had a team for europe and one for the league they were arrogant and lost the league and were embarressed in europe. we have dropped points already this season where everyone was predicting an easy ride in the league if the team show an air of arrogance other teams will scrap to the end to take points off us.

 

That's the same as every year, the fact is our squad depth is good enough to compete on two fronts. Especially a very uncompetitive SPL.
