After reading this thread through, have I got it right that your arguing for better sources, but when one of the most well known sources is brought up you don't know who he is or the programme he's most well known on :smiley-laughing002:?

Or did you just mean you hadn't heard their opinions on this ?

 

Maybe he is just sick of Mourinho's tactics.

 

I love watching Ronaldo. I think he's one of the top players in the world and of all time. He's extremely dedicated and works his * off on the field and in the gym. probably no one at real madrid trains harder than him.

However he's also one of the biggest pansies in the game. He's a little princess. when he does a trick, every supporter, player and even the * martians are supposed to clap and go mad. he acts like a spoiled little kid.

he's a narcissist par excellence. There's a reason why a lot of people can't stand him despite his football skills.

 

I didn't know the source. If it doesn't involve Celtic, unless I read it on here, the chances are I won't have heard of it. I was just wondering why so many people were posting as if we had facts, when the only source posted was The Sun and we all know how credible they are.

Actually, I read today that Perez hadn't wanted to leave Ronaldo to go to remark seventh anniversary of his father's death. That is a reason why Ronaldo wasn't in a mood. His father was an alcoholic, his Mum had really difficult life and she had to work 2 jobs to feed cristiano and his 2 sisters. Ronaldo swore he'd never drink alcohol after that.
I am not a fan of CR7, I don't like Real Madrid, but if this is true, Perez was wrong. It was just a game which Real could win without Ronaldo. It wasn't CL final, for Christ sake.

I think if this was the case, it would be unfair to allow Ronaldo to abandon the team on the day of a game even if they could win it. Where does this stuff end? At the end of the day, to use a football cliche, he's getting paid utterly obscene amounts by this club to play football for them. I don't think a reserve player would have been allowed either so allowing the big players in the team more influence sends the wrong message and particularly at Real that's the kind of thing that ended up ruining the Galacticos.

 

Agree with this tbh. It's a different story if it's a death, and even then a majority of players still go and play, but an anniversary on the date of which you've played before without causing a problem? Nah.

 

The latest one is that it is about money - just not about wanting more per se.

He's currently on the "Beckham Law" (where he is only taxed around 24% rather than the same as everyone else). But because of the new tax laws which will be passed in Spain in the next while, Ronaldo will go from 11mil a year to around 8mil. So the rumour now is that he feels the club should make up the difference so he does not end up taking home less than what he does now with the change in tax rules.

 

Hes a greedy * the amount of money he has he could probs own a private island and hes wanting more the guys a joke

Does anyone know anything about this 'Beckham Law'? I've seen it mentioned a few times and can vaguely remember something about foreigners and tax from when it happened...

 

Foriegn talent attracted to the country pay less tax, basically.

 

Thought it was something like that. This law has now been changed I assume?
