Boly is probably out of our league.

We specialise in potential that other clubs have not totally picked up on, but this guy is already tipped for the big time - would be a coup if we got him.

It would be a coup, but it's a while since we've had one so we're due it.

And if you look at it from his point of view, he might be thinking of Arsenal and Juve and creaming his pants, or he could be looking at them and thinking "if I go there, I'll be backup, probably wont get much first team football for the first wee while. Or I could go to Celtic, play in the Champions League, develop my game, and in two years move to Arsenal or Juve and be ready to go right into their first team." It can't be a secret that these days our squad is attracting interest from top, top teams, and that's only going to become more evident if/when we're playing on the biggest stage in Europe. Obviously it's not how we'd like to be seen but really we are the ideal stepping stone for a player in Boly's position. Just depends on whether or not he realises it.

In today's Express it says the deal is dead as Auxerre won't budge from £4 million and we're only willing to pay about £2 million.

Not sure how accurate that paper is though, probably not very.

Would be a good signing I believe, I really do think Lawell has something up his sleeve if we qualify tonight. Could be 4m on this guy who knows???

You think we left it too late to buy him? The only reason we have a chance is because him and the club both want rid and they might be forced to accept our offer with time running out. Same logic applies for most deals, and there is still plenty of talent out there.

not just him we have left it too late to get what we really need for a good price, teams are going to panic buy, i really wish that teams will accept our offer but other clubs will bid more than us when they think they need a player

we really do need players and i just don't want us to end up with players who are not good enough and panic buys

Got to say I disagree with this I think the later in the window you go the better calibre of player you will get ala Robbie Kean also I get the feeling there are a wealth of players out there who's teams are desperate to get rid of

Wouldn’t surprise me if we signed Park Chu-Young and or Yuki Otsu on loan to buy deals

Not really you have to pay more for player because clubs panic buy, robbie keane was on loan and he was told he could not sign for another prem club as well if i remember correct, and what did keane do for us apart from collect 65k a week? park chu young is on his way to celta vigo

It has on celtic football transfer rumours that wily boly is in glasgow today or will arrive tommorrow, Ed never really gets it wrong. Kenwyne jones or johnny russell would be nice too lenny.

He scored 16 goals in 19 games, what more could he possibly have done?

65k a week for that was not worth it since we never won the league!
