They play for CFC just to reach the EPL. No love for CFC as deluded fans think

Can someone explain why people represents UK in individual sports, but, not golfers? There is NIR or English flag next to their names?
Still, I do not understand why Great Britain basketball team will play at Eurobasket and NIR, Scotland, Wales and England have their own teams in other team sports?

I would imagine it has to do with the fact that golf is such an old sport plus it's an individual sport. The Ryder cup was traditionally between GB and USA so they did play as GB as well. Basketball has always been a team game only.

As far as Rory's decision is concerned, I can understand where he's coming from. I'm 23, and from about 5 miles where he's from (also a Protestant area but I'm a catholic) I don't feel overly Irish or British. Alot of people in our generation don't really give a *. Personally id love it if he came out and said he wasnt going to attend the Olympics. Stick a giant finger up to the hole thing. Should be amateurs only anyway

What side of the fence is G-Mac on? I'm guessing by the flag picture above that he sees himself as a Brit as well.

Also im sure mc dowell said he would be happy to respent Ireland as it is the whole of ireland not just the south.
And he would have every right to respent GB.

The ulster banner, the white English looking flag.

He probably does it as his family live in the unionist areas and if he was to use the tri-colour or ulster flag it would make them targets, as to them hed be outing himself as a taig/republican/* * etc
