Voted Mulgrew, but quite happy to see Ledley leading the way. What a great midfielder he's been for us!

One on one with the keeper and plenty of time, should have scored.

It was a bad miss 1 on 1 with yards of space and he managed to put it wide. It was bad.

I don't think anyone except Izzy were really poor, Sammy was pretty irrelevant for most of the match but scored a good goal to seal it for us so can't be too harsh on the guy.

Izzy really needs to pull the finger out and get bck to his best, he's 50% at most right now, gave MOTM to super Joe though.

What can you say, time and time again he bails us out, important goals at important times and did the defensive side of his job perfectly today.

    * Bless Joe Ledley!

I genuinely don't understand that, Izzy was absolutely fine today.

Granted he never made any whopping errors, and was better than in the 1st leg, but for me his positional sense was, well non-existant! He kept letting runners in behind him, not tracking and marking people properly, exposing his defence, standing in the wrong place when the other 3 were trying to play offside.... all sorts of *.

Plus the worst thing is he's not making any marauding runs or putting quality crosses into the box, so without him we're basically relying on a Mulgrew or Commons delivery or else we're * for goals.

He looks shot of confidence and hasn't improved drastically at all in the last few games.

I reckon we bench him for a bit which has the bonus of allowing us to play Ledley, Kayal, Brown and Wanyama in the same team.

Put Ledley or Mulgrew at LB for a couple game and tell Izzy to just work on his fitness and confidence off the pitch. The squad must be delighted after tonight's win so hopefully everyone's confidence rubs off on Izzy.

I voted for Charlie Mulgrew thought he was a rock in defence and involved in all our good play.

Has to be Ledley. Broony and Mulgrew not far behind though.

I can't remember any of that, if anything Matthews was the full back whose positioning was awry - kept letting long diagonals pick out Savage.

In terms of attacking hopefully he can ease his way back to his old self in the SPL.

Brown for me. Commons was great in the first half and Ledley came on to a game in the 2nd but the Skipper played well for the whole match bar the horrific miss.

Voted for Mulgrew, took the game by the scruff of the neck for the 1st goal and delivered real quality. So good it would have been harder for Joe to miss. He would have had another assist if Scott Brown wsn't like a rabbit caught in the headlights infront of goal. Thought the whole team played well, Matthews was caught out of possession a few times with the cross field ball in behind, that was the only concern. Wanyama fell victim to a horrendous referee IMO. His first yellow he received was a great tackle. Then 5 minutes later, they had one similar on Samaras where he didn't book the HJK player. And another crucial save from the big man just after half time. Overall, a very good performance.

Mulgrew for me, a legend in the making.

His run and cross would have been incredible for a top class winger never mind a centre back.

Mulgrew for me, he made the first goal on his own and that set us on our way to victory. He was defensively solid as always as well.

Between brooney and ledley, opted for brooney in the end.
