I suppose it depends on how close the religion etc is to you, for me I hate what that religion stands for but will still show some respect to the people that were killed.

And I also agree with the point that it has to be high profile/religion related before its broadcast on tv but to say you don't give a * that people were killed is harsh in my opinion :50:

It's a shame that 7 people's families will not be seeing their loved ones anymore so RIP.

But I agree with FawCough's sentiments - about 1 minute after reading the Op, I probably won't think twice about it.

I'm not on high horse but saying you dont give a * more or less makes you seem a bit heartless. I can see where you ar coming from about normal day to day people being killed but never being mentioned in the news etc but we are all humans after all.

Is there support among the US population for tougher gun control?

    I'm not picky.
This is just my guess but I think there is call for tougher gun control but there won't be this year as its the presidential elections and they wont do anything to * up in getting votes. Will be a fine balance as they will need to promise to do something but at the same time not take "Americans rights to bear arms" away.

yes, most americans want gun control but not to ban guns outright, the current laws are a joke in some states at the moment

    This.

The time has come for Americans to get rid of their current gun laws. Far to many nutcases (especially in America) knocking round these days for legal guns.
