    Well you said, what player is the best when he is on top form.

    So....definitely Samaras, when he really is playing at the top of his form (which isnt often) he's almost at a world-class level.

    He's been playing really good for the last 12 months or so but once in a while he plays like a £30 million player.

    Sammi always wins one on ones but other teams know he's a problem and double mark him and thats when Izzy comes into his game by running down by his side, A terrific partnership.:50:

    In the Pre Season Samaras and Commons have stood out, but I have to say Ledley as he always make a contribution when he is playing.

    He's excellent going both forwards and backwards.

    He plays with such maturity, his mentality and attitude is absolutely fantastic as well. Some of his work can go unnoticed but it's so important. He's a player that will always be in the first eleven as long as he's fit and there's good reason for that. There are players with more talent in the squad but it's nothing Joe Ledley doesn't make up for with hard work and know-how on the pitch.

    I'll finish with saying there's players that will take their career further than Joe Ledley I would think, such as Victor Wanyama. Same with Kayal but he'll need an attitude adjustment.

    I think Kris Commons is our best player. Makes things happen constantly. Something which is very much required against teams with 10 men behind the ball.

    Kayal, Ledley, Wanyama and Matthews are all fantastic as well.

    He went through a period where he was completely disinterested. The effort wasn't there at all and it was the same time he had issues with his contract if memory serves me correctly.

    He was simply in the huff.

    This is coming from someone that has Kayal down as a favoured player.

    I'm surprised that so many people haven't chosen Kayal. Like I said earlier in the thread I think he is our best by a considerable distance.

    Guess it shows how many good players we have though.
