I was disappointed with Bangura last year, i'm willing to give him another season considering Henrik's first year at us but if he does the same this season as last then we have to move him on. A striker incapable of scoring competitive goals is useless.

I hope im wrong but this guy doesnt even look like a footballer, everytime he gets the ball he panics takes a heavy touch or 3 then concedes posession.

Haven`t seen enough of him yet imo. He was a standout in the Swedish top league and can`t suddenly just turn into *. Injuries and lack of confidence have got the better of him so far in his short Celtic career. There was a game near the end of the season ( St Johnstone at home I think ) where he looked very good. A lot of nice touches and good link up play. Lets give him this season

He was dire against Inter Milan. The only one of our players I could honestly say that about; although Gary Hooper hardly had his best day either.

I'm one of the fans who thinks we still haven't seen the best of Mo Bangura, but yesterday has all but convinced me that he is simply not a striker. He hasn't an eye for goal, he doesn't have much attacking instinct (there was one v good Commons cross in particular that he backed off from when he was the only target!), and his passing yesterday was, for the most part, far too heavy. He seems to have very good pace, good ball control, and an eye for a pass (although, as I said, his execution can be poor), but that's about it, in my opinion anyhow. He might cut the mustard somewhere in midfield, but we're hardly lacking there. I wouldn't mind seeing him in behind a target-man (if ever we get one) or behind a poacher like Stokes or Hooper, but yesterday's game - coupled with the few times I saw him last season - has almost totally convinced me that he can't be relied on for goals.

Ah yes, Henrik flopped badly in his first season...19 goals including scoring the first of the 2 goals against St Johnstone to win our first title for 10 years. Just like Bangura :87:

I always wondered if Lawwell had Stevie Wonder on his payroll. :97:

People have said he was a stand-out in Sweden, but I doubt the team he played for was much better than the likes of Dundee United. John Daly looks a stand-out for them. I'm beginning to doubt that he was ever good enough for us.

He looked good before he hit an injury and just lost confidence from there!

I see you're in Stockholm, did you watch him when he was in Sweden? Did he look like he could be good enough for Celtic?

He's rotten .. the thing is he did actually get a few games when he arrived and he was crap .. Tynecastle in particular lingers in the mind.

Lots of effort from the guy but little more .. Stokes and Hooper are both better.

Larsson has never mentioned him and no-one at the Club has ever said anything about Larsson and him.

Think it was just the press putting 2 + 2 together and getting 63. Celtic want Striker from Sweden, "Henrik Larsson has highly recommended him".

Larsson said stuff about him in the media before/after he signed, saying he was a good player etc, 100% positive about that, but doesnt mean he recommended him to celtic :50:

Larsson did mention him. Called him clever, intelligent and also quick and strong.

The amount of people writing him off absolutely baffles me. There is no possible way you could form a complete opinion of him as we haven't seen him properly.

I actually think he has shown a few nice touches and also looks good with his back to goal.
