[Link] Victor Wanyama to City?

I know this is probably about 99% bullshite, but if there is any truth to the fact that Wanyama would like to leave becuase he has been asked to play in defence, then he can get himself to *!

 

I highly doubt it Padmill, my understanding is he only said that he seems himself as a central midfielder first and foremost...which most of would agree with.

I'd love to see Wanyama in Europe this season. He's one of the most composed players we have.

If you thought he wouldn't give a great account of himself in CL, then it would be wise to sell now.

i knew he was being watched by arsenal scouts today, and as soon as it was half time i knew they would end up bidding for him . was sensational today , dont know how he came across in the streams but he was the best player on the pitch in the first half by a long way. a special talent , there will definitely be bids for him in the next few weeks . we should show some ambition and build our team around him though.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if a team had scouts at the match today and are preparing to bid, he played amazing and had shown that he he is continuing his performances from last season.

I know but we have to accept that we're never going to get the same inflated money because we are in the SPL. I mean say what you want about a guy like McDonald but he went for £3.5million and he was a very good goal scorer for us and in big games too. Our ambition in terms of how much our players are worth in the transfer market has increased dramatically since Lenny took charge and that's testament to him, his management team, John Park, the rest of the scouting team and yes...even Peter Lawwell. Put it this way, only an 8 figure bid would be too tempting to turn down.

 

What celtic need to do is sign players on lifetime contracts so they cant go any where else
