A Cayenne in white with one of Porsche's set of black alloys would look fantastic if a bit drug dealer/footballer-ish. Would feel a right * in a Ferrari or Lambo in a busy area it just looks like showing off. I think Aston's are different though they're incredibly beautiful cars but they're not gaudy or showy and ooze class. Always loved 911s, especially the turbo but you see so many 911s/Boxsters/Caymans these days they've become such a common part of the urban landscape like the usual family hatchbacks.

LOVE the Zonda it's the most mental looking car ever. Not really into the Veyron, much prefer the McLaren F1. The F1 was designed by Gordon Murray and a few of his engineers and the Veyron is just a Volkswagen. Nothing at all wrong with VW but I think I'd want more pedigree if I was spending a million quid on a car. The F1 is also naturally aspirated, rear wheel drive, manual and has no traction control. A pure, uninhibited driving machine with no electronic nonsense. Though that's probably the reason Rowan Atkinsons almost write his off twice!

    I'd have

    1) VW Golf R for an everyday run about.

    2) Aston Martin V12 Vantage for the evening & weekends.

    3) McLaren F1 for special occasions.

Aye, Aston's are classy yet sporty. If I was to choose a car that would grab attention it would be

Wouldn't fancy getting around the roads here in it right enough.

My sporty one would have been the Exige but as it had been posted in the OP I thought I'd say something different, plus they aren't the most practical of cars. Maybe a TVR as well, even though they are a nightmare.

    Now that's a bit of a looker:50:

Love TVR as well but like you say they've suppose to lose parts as you drive down the road. Shame they're gone. Would love a Sagaris.

I remember Kevin McCloud of Grand Designs had a Cerbera and he described it as a kit car in reverse as in that you got a full car and it disassembled itself as you went along. He also mentioned that windscreen wipers/headlights etc. just came on whenever they felt like it.

This is what TVR makes me think of.

Can't watch that just now but was that the one where they couldn't finish the lap because the car kept breaking?

Nah the one he got folk out the factory next to the track to try and get in and start it. No one got it started and none of them could get back out.

Also, think it was every time it hit 90 the wipers would lift off the windscreen.

lol I just love how mental TVR were - open the door from outside with a button on the mirror, open it from inside with a button on the centre console etc. It would be fine if Audi or Toyota had made the electrics. TVR's interiors were amazing as well, all sweeping in weird shapes with prominent stitching.

Wish someone would buy the rights to make TVRs but maybe get a German in to show them how to build them properly. Then again I doubt a car company in Britain just building expensive sports cars could survive in Britain.

A TVR styling with Porche reliability, how awesome would that be?
