I don't care what anyone says but I'm absolutely gutted at the prospect of no Rangers to compete with. The league will be well and truly over by Christmas, if not Halloween and will become relatively boring. The other teams do not have the money or squads to compete with us and imo we could put 2 teams into the SPL and still get 1st and 2nd. Can also understand why people think they should get something back because in a sense you do pay extra for Rangers games and it actually works out a lot more expensive for some people to have a season ticket than to just buy single tickets which is just wrong.

Try telling that to Neil Lennon....

Of course it's about the trophies mate, that's what your judged in as a football club and a manager in Neil Lennon's case.

Well here comes the downside to all the laughs we have had at their expense it seems there's going to be more than a few who are no longer that interested without our ugly cousins.People want reductions in season tickets as there's no more old firm games but how is any decent chance of us qualifying for europe going to be achieved without decent financial backing?

You never but you did say you only get a season ticket to see rangers games and that we should win the league and basically be handed the trophy now because there no competition.

Just came across to me that you just like the bigger games and trophies, obviously they are the best. But you should really just be going to games because you like to go. I wouldnt go any more if I didnt like it, I nearly stopped going when Strachan was manager as it became too boring and the final straw was going to be if Strachan didnt start playing McGeady as there was rumours of him not liking him or wanting to sell him, if he did then I wouldnt have gone to see a Strachan match again. Will be the same next season if we vote Sevco in.

Didnt mean for it to come across bad or anything. Just meant if you didnt like going then you just shouldnt feel you need to.

No I only buy a season ticket to guarantee old firm games, before I had a season ticket I used to get tickets for every other game and not get old firm tickets which proves I don't just like the big games!

I don't think anyone can argue that there will be no competition next season, this doesn't mean I'll enjoy it any less, I was just responding to someone who said he thinks we will have a fantastic season!

Not for me as a fan though, I go to games because I like to go to them and enjoy it. For me thats the best bit, if we never won a trophy again but I still liked to go and thought it was still good I would keep going. The bigger matches, the trophies are good bonuses but the best thing is just getting to a match having a drink a laugh a bit of singing, I prefer that to most other normal stuff you can do.

Examples would be 3 in a row, that was a terrible season but Lennons first season was a great season.

The competition doesnt bother me, I hope the games are more entertaining than usual and that the lack of competition allows us to rest players for European games and give young players like McGeouch, Twardzik, George, Chalmers, Kidd, Fraser, Johnstone, Watt and bhoys games.

You don't have kids to feed and rent to pay then? Tickets for games against them were always a rip off, and people who part with their hard earned are entitled to ask the question. I agree with your sentiments about them but not everyone one is lucky enough to have a spare "measly" £84 and, just because you do does not make you a better supporter.

"measly £84" jesus christ, that's a lot of money to me, we aren't all fortunate to be well off, £84 could contribute pretty well to me and is a long way off being "measly"

If Rangers aren't in then I suspect we will get some kind of compensation, they can't have people buying opt out season tickets cheaper than people buying opt in season tickets but giving them the same matches on the cards.

If I'm being honest, I was bored towards the end of last season, and without Rangers I may well be bored this coming season. I completely agree that they should be demoted to Division III, as punishment for their actions and for sporting integrity reasons, and I know I'm going to get ripped apart for this comment, but it's true, if we're literally going to have no competition and walk the league then it just won't be fun to watch for me.

Supporters of all SPL clubs should thank their clubs for keeping SS FC out of the SPL by looking for reductions on their STs.

Well we knew this was gonna happen, no point moaning.

You either have the scum in and pay loads of money, or the scum out and pay loads of money!

    That's football these days!

Next season is all about Europe, Scotland is irrelevant and basically always has been. No1 outside Scotland gives half a * who wins the league, it's our European pedigree that needs to be enhanced and that's where we need to start winning again.

I will be going next season for big European games and to see this young squad fulfill their big potential, I don't give a * about the huns, hearts, killie, st mirren or any of those diddy teams!

I'd guess that we will get all European Qualifiers on the Season Ticket, and possibly a reduction in 3 game package for CL or EL if we qualify. If not possibly a free game in SC or SLC to make it up to the support. To be honest though I am more than happy to pay the £520 without the manky mob, I go to see Celtic play.

No pal, there is no challenge now.... And MY problem is that the 2 Rangers games are the games I most look forward to, probably like most Celtic fans LIKE

The simple fact is that some people have paid £84 extra for the same ticket, which isn't fair.
