A lot of people are mentioning Skippy. I thought he did a great job for us but I think he's passed it now. His strike rate at middlesbrough is not particularly good I dont think. Robbie Keane may be a money chaser but I think he'd do well here. Hes just reliable.

To be honest, there are not many ex-Celtic players that I would take back. On the whole, I think the club do a good job of evaluating when they have got all they can out of a player and moving them on. There are very few players who leave Celtic and go on to be an even better player than they were when they were here.

Off the top of my head, the only ex-Celt I would take back would be Artur Boruc. I had lots of man love for big Artur. He was a great character to have in the team and he was a world class goalkeeper too.

Do you think that Boruc is the same keeper we had when he was at his peak here though? Could Forster be better - both in current form - than Boruc? I think its possible.

No, the likelihood is that Boruc wouldn't be able to recapture the form he had from 2006 to 2008. That doesn't mean he'd be a flop though, we have to remember just how good Boruc actually was back then. I think he was one of the top 5 goalkeepers in the world at that point in time.

I think if Boruc came back here now that he would be an upgrade on Fraser Forster. He's just more naturally talented than Forster is or ever will be in my opinion(nothing against Fraser Forster, I think he's a good keeper). The key thing with Artur Boruc is his motivation levels. If he came back here, would he give it 100%? Or would he get bored and slip into the same bad habits he did the last time he was here?? I would like to think he wouldn't but Artur being Artur you just never know.

Me personally I would have him back in a second. I just loved the guy so I will admit to being somewhat biased when it comes to the Holy Goalie.

I'd take Boruc, McGeady and McDonald back.
I'd obviously have Keane, Bellamy and Given back too but I don't really count them.

McGeady no question but I'll make a case for someone not mentioned yet.

Evander Sno put in some really great performances last season in the Eredivisie with Waalwijk (just signed with NEC Nijmegen), he's becoming the player he was against Barca and he's only 25 so has his best years ahead of him.

I think we're talking about players who are still playing professionally today maet. I dont think Kenny and Bertie and Brian and Lou are still playing today mate.
